I have used this hotel a lot and in general its very good. This time I think due to it being the off season and the weather the experience was not as good. Restaurant was a little cold and the breakfast was limited, other than this everything was great.
The hotel is well situated not too far from the Route National and in a pretty, small town. Behind the hotel is a beautiful Church and below that a small double lake area which is just the right size for an evening or early morning walk, or for a picnic lunch outside.
The welcome from the receptionist was lovely. The hotel itself has a restaurant and a swimming pool in a pleasant garden. There is a lift to the first floor. The rooms have kettle/tea/coffee/sugar/biscuit which is unusual for French hotels. Sadly no milk, but the small uht bottles are easily bought.
We only stayed one night en route to Le Havre for the ferry but we felt very comfortable in the town and hotel and wished we could have stayed longer.
Nice hotel, breakfast was good. Swimming pool was out of action.
Car park very small and mostly full. If you pull into car park and there is no space you have to reverse back into street with poor visibility
Good welcome. Restaurant food is excellent as was the service. Room very comfortable and spacious. The hotel itself is a bit tired in places. None the less excellent value for money.
This is the umpteenth time we have stayed at this great, family run, hotel. The service and food was as good as ever, and there is also an Italian opened up next to the hotel which gives even more choices. Nice hotel, nice staff, worth staying, and for motorcyclists, the D999 approach from St Lo makes it even better.

Disliked: Staff & service, room comfort
Not worth the money we paid
Just a 1 night stay before flying out. We choose this hotel because I recognized the Kyriad brand as reliable. The rate through Hotels.com was less than what they quoted at the hotel & what I ended up paying.
Typical tiny European hotel room, everything as of cheap quality, no instructions for anything and only 2 outlets for 2 people with multiple electronics to use/charge. The room was clean & the beds were comfortable. The toenail discarded in the elevator was a turn off.
There is a bar right in the lobby area, and the night we arrived it smelled so terrible of flatulence from the men drinking/eating while watching the soccer game hat we could barely walk through there, as well as making it extremely loud.
If we hadn't been so tired from driving we would have continued looking for another place.
Perfect hotel for a stay over with two dogs in between two days walking. Very friendly staff and absolutely superb restaurant . Hotel itself perfectly adequate nothing special but just right if you have dogs with you!
