Located in Ulverston, Lakeside Hotel & Spa is on a lake, a 1-minute drive from Lake Windermere and 13 minutes from Laurel and Hardy Museum.
We stayed for New Year’s Eve and the staff couldn’t be more friendly and attentive! The hotel is gorgeous and the views of the lake are lovely. It’s a little bit out of the way but it’s worth it for a lovely stay. The breakfast was also really good!

Room was not cleaned so no coffees or toilet paper. Hotel was not very warm heating had been turned down and it was minus 5 outside . Swimming pool water wasn’t very warm .
