This vrbo was such a blessing to us as we gathered with our children after they finished up their college semesters. Large enough to not be on top of each other and cozy enough to have fabulous fellowship, games, and puzzle time. Close to nearby attractions and hiking. Super pet friendly- my favorite part concerning pets was the gate to keep them secure on the beautiful wrap around porches and the dog bowls and toys available for use. Truly a pleasure to stay here with top-notch tea and coffee choices, plenty of dishes, pots, baking dishes, etc. The host was great with communication and even though I know a lot of renters come with their pets, I did not see a single dog hair from anyone else's pet. Hats off to their cleaning person.

We stayed in Garden Studio A and could not have been happier. It's a lovey, large room, well-appointed and with very comfortable beds. It's obvious the owners have put a lot of thought and effort into the rooms and the entire property, and they are great to chat with. We absolutely loved being able to step outside in the evenings and relax around the attractive gas fire. The little kitchen area and fridge gave us just enough space for evening snacks and drinks, and the grocery store was right down the road. It was very convenient to Lake Lure, and it was only about 25 scenic minutes to Tryon International Equestrian Center. We will absolutely stay here again! It really added a great deal to our trip.

Clean rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a very relaxing atmosphere

My family and I enjoyed our long weekend at the cabin while I attended a seminar. Communication was great! Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

We stayed for three nights and it was a wonderful experience. House is very roomy, beautiful and wonderful location. Bob, the host, was excellent and very accommodating. Definitely want to return. Excellent experience
