Peake Street - Lake Charles

One of the nicest properties I have stayed, convenient to everything you would want to be close to. Setup of the house was convenient. I spent two weeks here and it was outstanding.

Neat property, great location

Very neatly maintained unit. We comfortably stayed for 2 nights. House was very clean and self sufficient - the long driveway is a plus if you are driving a bigger vehicle or towing a trailer.

We stayed at this property after my wife’s hysterectomy. We relocate for my job and the surgery was already scheduled and our home sold quickly. This property is under new management. The owners were very attentive to the issues we had with the a/c. They even sent a basket over with goodies thanking us for our patience and to wish my wife a easy recovery. There were issues but we will definitely stay at this home again if we visit Lake Charles again, as we know the new owners will have this property in great shape soon. We definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting this area!

Great choice!

We travel a lot and stay in a lot of rentals. This is one of the best we’ve found. Beautifully decorated, designed and spotless. The bed and bedding was super comfy. We will stay again the next time we’re in Lake Charles.

Please see my first review - I had just as great an experience with this property as I did the first time. I highly recommend it for a single person or a couple staying in Lake Charles. Easy to get to, great location, great place to stay in, and great manager - I will continue to stay here when I return to Lake Charles.

Comfortable and Stylish One Bedroom In Lake Charles

I spent almost a week in this place and loved the entire experience. The pictures on the site are entirely accurate. I loved the location - I walked to downtown restaurants and the Civic Center/Lakeside area regularly. It was quiet - which helped tremendously as I was working remotely some of the time. Inside is a nice big bedroom, a very nice restroom and living area, and a fantastic central island for food prep and eating and visiting - it's where I spent most of my time (sometimes I used it as a desk as well). The place has style and a beautiful color palette, but is comfortable at the same time. Communication with the manager/owner was easy, friendly, and prompt. I will definitely stay here next time I'm back in my hometown of Lake Charles. Highly recommend!
