About this property

Desert Light & Mountain Air — A Refined Seasonal Stay in La Quinta Cove

Some winter rentals are transformative. Tucked into the storied enclave of La Quinta Cove, where the Santa Rosa Mountains rise dramatically from the valley floor and the light turns gold by 4pm, this three-bedroom Pueblo-style home was designed for guests who know exactly what they want: warmth, privacy, quiet and a kitchen stocked well enough to cook a real dinner. Whether you're here for a month or a season, you'll leave having lived here — not just stayed.

Step inside and notice the details: mountain views, rich wood tones, hand-laid Saltillo tile, and rubbed bronze hardware — a Southwest soul without a single dreamcatcher in sight. The living spaces are chic and grown-up, furnished for conversation and comfort in equal measure. WiFi-enabled TVs in the living room and primary or a TV free respite from the news feed in the front and guest bedrooms. Quality linens and towels that feel like home and stocked for the way real people actually live for 30, 60, or 90 days at a stretch.

The updated 2026 kitchen is a true space for gathering — Dining table for 6+, a large kitchen table with a pool view for morning coffee and a hi-top for wine o'clock. Extra large pantry and plenty of lowers - one Costco run and done. Appliances are stainless, full cookware, proper glassware, and tableware for both indoor dining and poolside entertaining. The full-size washer and dryer are inside, where they belong. The two-car attached garage keeps your vehicles in the shade and your bikes or golf bags organized.

The backyard is the headline. Your private 29' × 14' Saltwater pool sits at the center to be accessed from the primary, the living room and the kitchen. Saltwater pools offer softer, skin-friendly water. They avoid harsh chemicals, reduce eye/skin irritation, and eliminate strong chlorine odors, providing a more pleasant, consistent and sanitary swim. Flanked by two shaded seating areas designed to get the most out of the desert sun — or to escape it gracefully by 2pm when you've earned the shade. The mountain views from the pool are the kind that make you set down your phone. Morning swims, evening cocktails, and outdoor lighting for the occasional late-night dip — the backyard does it all without requiring a single other guest to be present.

La Quinta Cove is a quieter, more intimate corner of the Coachella Valley — residential, walkable into the foothills, and just minutes from everything. Old Town La Quinta's Main Street strip is a 6-minute drive: independent cafés, proper restaurants, art galleries, and tennis courts. On Sunday mornings, the village park hosts an open-air farmers market and a yoga session on the grass — the kind of weekly ritual that makes a long stay feel like a life, not a layover. World-class golf at PGA West and the La Quinta Resort is close enough to make a daily tee time effortless.

We've designed this home for guests who do their research, travel with intention, and understand that the right space changes the quality of an entire season. Minimum stay is 30 nights. The calendar fills early — especially October through March. If the dates work, don't wait. Seasonal rates vary, with promotional rates for stays 32 days or more. Damage Deposit is $3,000.
