Checking into this hotel was scary. There were no other guests, the elevator was turned off and one of the two pools was green. If it wasn't pre-paid we would have just left. We later counted the guests, and there was a total of 6, *including* the four in our party. What also made this scary was the fact that you were isolated at the end of the pennisula. There was nothing else around except for the hotel and the beach. I had also read complaints that the water in the showers was salty. I didn't notice that, but it wasn't particularly warm either. So, most of the showers were quick.
Having said that, the description here is accurate. The hotel did provide meals and snacks as well as drinks during our stay. (In fact, there were more staff than guests.) If there were people around or more things to do, this could be an okay place. However, I can't recommend it. Particularly if you have never been to El Salvador, you should not make this one of your destinations.
