Absolutely beautiful property just a 3 min walk from a great public beach and an 18km costal hiking path. It was perfect for our group of 5 women for 5 nights. The main house has 4 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, 2 living rooms and a kitchen including fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher. The bunkbed room is accessed through the same door as one of the double rooms on the upper level.The guest house (casita) has 2 double rooms separated by an opaque curtain and 1 bathroom. It also has a mini fridge and espresso machine. Little geckos like to hang out around here. Although the pool is not heated, it was warm enough during our stay at the end of April to be used by those of us who also swam in the ocean. We enjoyed all the outdoor seating areas, especially the dining table under the pergola. The host, Mireia, was always very prompt at responding to any questions or concerns we had, and sent very thorough documentation and instructions for the beach house and recommendations for the surrounding area.We would have needed more rags and towels in the kitchen and thought it was weird that toilet paper was only provided for the first day. The listing mentions there would be dishwasher soap, but there was none so we bought our own at the Lidl nearby. All minor things that did not take away from us enjoying our time here. We would definitely love to stay again if given the chance.

We really enjoyed our time at The Beachouse. The property is immaculately clean. The air conditioning is brilliant. The pool is beautiful and maintained very well. It is so private, which was really nice. The closest beach, Cala Xelin is lovely (although pebbly). So many lovely coves around to explore too. There is a lovely coastal walk also that passes the property (Camino de Ronda). We enjoyed a trip to Portaventura, our teenage boys had a blast there. Also did day trips to Tarragona and Valencia. The wifi in the property was very good and there is also a smart TV (very important for teenagers!) The kitchen was well stocked and we were delighted with the Nespresso machine! Mireia was very responsive and helpful and checked in during our stay to make sure all was going well. A really enjoyable and relaxing holiday. Highly recommended!!

Wonderful Spanish Beach House

Superb location, we had a fantastic time at the Beach House! We loved being able to walk to the beach everyday and hear the sea at night. The local town is great for shopping and restaurants, and having the bikes provided meant we were able to cycle in to buy bread each day. The children the space and we had a very relaxing holiday!!

RELAXING RETREAT

We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing at the finca for a short 4 night break. The villa is gorgeous, the pool is a delight and the nearby beach which is 5 mins walk is also beautiful. If you want a quiet, soul re-charging holiday then this is the perfect place!

Superb holiday experience

We have just spent 2 wonderful weeks at The Beachouse, and count ourselves as lucky to have found it! We truly felt as though we had 'gotten away from it all'. As a family of 3 adults, we definitely didn't take full advantage of all the thoughtful extras included with the house. (Bikes, trampoline, etc). We DID languish beside the pool, find one of the many nooks for afternoon siestas, cook (appreciated the Catalan cookery book provided), barbecue, walk down to the closest cove for a daily swim & enjoy the town. The WiFi was excellent. The manager's recommendation of where to shop for groceries, eat out, activities, etc was thoughtful and much appreciated. Any questions we had were quickly answered. Highly recommend this villa.

Fantastic Beach House

We had a fantastic time at the Beach House and did not want to leave. It had everything you need to relax and enjoy your holiday! Gorgeous interior and exterior design, plenty of space to relax with an amazing pool, sun loungers etc etc! Also we loved having access to the various beaches at the end of the garden! what a treat! Mireia is an amazing host with very fast communication and clear instructions. One of the best yet. We can't thank you enough for letting us stay and we hope to come back soon!

Perfect Getaway

This lovely property was everything we had been looking for - on the coast (snorkelling in the cove in front of the house was unexpectedly spectacular), but with a beautiful pool and not overlooked by any other houses or development. The patio and grounds are very spacious, so lots of room for games, and the house is comfortable - a bonus was the roof terrace with great views of the sunset. For a family holiday with adult children it had everything we needed.

Perfect property, location and host.

We, a family of 4, plus Nanny and Grandad, stayed at The Beachouse for a week in early April. The set-up was perfect, having separate accommodation where N & G could stay and get some peace and quiet! The layout of is great both inside and out; the children loved all the space outside, the trampoline, bikes and table football, as did the adults! Mireia and her colleagues 'on site' were a pleasure to deal with and I'm sure we'll return in the not too distant future.

Beach Retreat

This beach house is really a home away from home. We were a party of 5 adults and were able to spread out and have our own space. The pool was a Bonus because we all enjoyed it. The Train station was so close we did a day trip to Tarragona which was amazing!!! I highly recommend going there!!! The only down side is you need to buy everything you need to prepare your meals because there is no basics such as salt, pepper, oil etc. no paper towels or napkins very little T.P. and hand soap. So be prepared to go to the Super Mercado before you go to the Beach House. There is Ocean Views from the Roof top of the Beach house and the Beach is walking distance from the house. Great Restaurant Recommendations although we ate most our meals at the Beach House:) Loved IT~~~~ Chin Chin

Little piece of paradise

We loved our stay at The Beachouse. We were actually pissed we had only booked 1 week because it was the PERFECT place to unwind with our 4 month old baby. You're a little bit off the beaten path and it's great to feel part of the daily local in Ametlla Del Mar (were you can namely buy freshly caught tuna). The living spaces are great for spending a relaxing day by the pool and cook a great diner at night. There's also a great little beach about 5 minutes away (Cala Xelin). We would consider coming back at The Beachouse for sure. Thank you Mireia!

Très belles vacances dans cette maison tout confort. Service parfait et propriétaire très prévenante. Vélos, piscine, babyfoot, barbecue dans une belle propriété privée, au milieu des oliviers, avec une annexe indépendante fort appréciable. A quelques mètres de petites criques prsque privatives. Nous avons passé de belles vacances et n'hésiterons pas à revenir.

Beautiful house that is a home from home

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The house is really well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen down to board games and beach games. There is plenty of space inside to relax as the living area is divided into two which suited our teeenagechildren. The outside area is delightful and we made good use of the barbecue area, pool and sunbathing terrace. The owner was really helpful and responded to our messages really quickly. We found plenty of pretty beaches nearby and took a day trip to Barcelona on the train as the station is only a few minutes drive away from the house with free parking. We will definitely look at returning in the future.

House is well equipped with everything one might need during the stay to feel at home. Only one small negative comment that not all rooms upstairs are equipped with conditioners.

Det er ubestridt 100 gange bedre end billederne beretter. Its fantastic, simply amazing.

Huset går i perfekt forbindelse med sine omgivelser, og det overgik vores forventninger ift. Afstand til strand og by. Det var skønt med grill på terrassen, ild i pejsen om aftenen og lyden af havet når man står op. Poolen er uovertruffen hvad angår renlighed og funktionalitet (dog skal man være opmærksom på at poolrenserne kommer uanmeldt og tjekker pH og klor mv. ;). Den var perfekt når man var træt af stranden eller lyst til en morgensvømmer. All in all The most amazing Way to discover how life in Spain is, the house is nothing short of perfection and its hosts kind, serviceminded and attentive.

Great house right by family friendly beach

We had a wonderful time here during October half term 2016. The house has recently been built or refurbished and everything feels new and fresh. It's also nice and clean. The pool is great although the water was cold this time of year! The house is a 3 minute walk to the beach. It is a pebble beach but safe for children (despite some nudists who kept themselves themselves). There are sandy beaches slightly longer walks away. The house also has 5 bikes of various sizes which we used to cycle into town and to the local pizzaria which is a great little restaurant. Mireia is an excellent host and responds very quickly to communication. The internet stopped working due to a power cut and a technician arrived the following day to fix it. There are a few downsides. The ground floor is on multiple levels and is hard floor and there is no Bannister at all on the stairs which is dangerous for children. There is no book of essentials so when you arrive you don't know where anything is. It took us 2 days to find the washing machine in a small cupboard outside! We had no idea where the local shops were etc. There are no provisions whatsoever. Not even salt or cooking oil. You need to bring absolutely everything with you. All that being said you will have a great time here and it is definitely recommended.

Der Aufenthalt war wirklich wahnsinnig toll! Ich dachte, dass die Fotos schon toll aussehen, aber es ist wirklich alles noch mal viel, viel schöner im echten Leben. Man sieht gar nicht, wie groß das Grundstück ist.Der Kontakt mit Mirea ist sehr nett, sie hat immer schnell reagiert und ist auf Wünsche eingegangen. Die Umgebung ist toll, es gibt wirklich einige super Restaurants, die ich sehr empfehlen kann (zB La Cuarda). Der Strand in der Nähe ist wirklich wahnsinnig schön, nur leider sehr steinig. Man kann aber super um das Haus spazieren gehen und ist innerhalb von 2 Minuten am Meer. Ich hätte mir den Aufenthalt nicht schöner vorstellen können!

Perfect!

De Beach House is een prachtige villa met een heerlijk zwembad en een mooie en zeer ruime tuin! De ligging nabij L’Ametlla (op fietsafstand) en de fraaie rotskust met kleine strandjes op loopafstand is geweldig. Mireia is erg behulpzaam. Zeer aan te bevelen. We komen graag nog een keer terug.

Une maison merveilleuse

Nous avons tellement aimé notre séjour il y a quelques années que nous y sommes retournés. La maison est toujours aussi agréable. Le jardin et la piscine sont sublimes. Il y a beaucoup d'excursions à faire dans la région. L'accueil est parfait et l'hôte est extrêmement réactive en cas de besoin.
