Hotel location was amazing! Walking distance to Sanjo station and plenty of markets with delicious food and shopping. Could not have found a more perfect hotel for our stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The Royal Park Hotel Sanjo is in a great location. Easy to walk to the Gion area, local shrines, shopping, etc. I don’t think the breakfast or lunch addition to your daily costs is worth it. The food in the attached restaurant is pretty terrible. Other than that, I would highly recommend this hotel based on its friendly staff, condition? And location.

The location of this hotel is perfect. It is in the middle of everything; shopping, dining, site seeing...easy access to Kyoto station. The room is smaller than I expected, quite tight for two people with 2 pieces of luggage. Overall, it is a nice hotel.

Great room, clean and tidy. Staff was friendly. But the self serve laundry machines are terrible! The washer is fine, the dryer takes forever to dry…well over 2 hours. Which creates a line to wait for your turn. The staff was helpful in providing extra hangers for us to dry things in our room. We even went across the street to a laundromat.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Everyone was so helpful, the breakfast buffet was great and our room was really great too! The only thing I would say is that the beds are a little hard but not as much as our other stay somewhere else in Japan

Perfect location in Kyoto

What a wonderful Hotel. On the money for being right in the heart of the action. We loved it. Everything about this hotel was excellent, so close to resteraunts, shopping, etc. we walked to lots of attractions from there. We used Taxis and Uber to go out further to other places, not too baby priced either. Would highly recommended this Hotel.
