This was the best hotel in our Kyoto stay. The hotel is in an excellent location. The garden is beautiful. Well kept. The breakfast was the perfect way to start your day and had so many options including Japanese and non-Japanese foods. I loved it!

This is a very quiet little hotel in a great walkable neighborhood near train stations, restaurants and coffee shops. Shopping is also within walking distance, as well as Nijo Castle, which was a great place to visit. We had a room with 4 good sized beds and a seating areas. The staff is very kind and helpful, saving our luggage for us before and after our stay so we could explore Kyoto. It has a little garden off the lobby that adds to the serene atmosphere. I will absolutely stay here again!
