The property is in a great area, with free use of bikes. Unfortunately they are on a first in basis so unless you get up at 7am you're likely to miss out. The breakfast was plentiful only issue was that it was the same reach day and usually only Luke warm even tho in heated pans. Not sure what the issue was there. Great coffee shop almost next door. If you want to rent electric bikes go to J-cycle. In the foyer area is a beautiful zen garden which the restaurant looks out onto when eating breakfast.

Everything was good. There was a stain on the carpet when we moved the chair, end tables could be better. It was just a table with no drawers. The bathroom vent wasn’t good. The hot tub area would be better if there were towels down there. Overall a great stay. We had had four beds in a room. It was a comfortable stay. JR Rail station was around the corner. Grocery store nearby. 7-Elevem across the street. Walkable to Nikishi Market.

Great location and fantastic staff. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Can’t fault the service. Heaps of restaurants within walking distance and a convenience store across the roads ensure very easy access to dining options. Also within walkable distance to other shopping and nightlife, and very close to a train station. Rooms were basic and dated but fine. Little things such as no USB points in the room and couldn’t cast to TV were noticeable. Overall, though I would consider staying again as the positives outweighed the small things missing in the room.

Wonderful stay in Kyoto

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was perfect - with easy access to taxis when we needed to go somewhere outside of walking distance. The neighborhood around the hotel is great. The staff were incredibly helpful. The breakfast was delicious!
