This is the place to stay in Kyoto !

A little bit of home in Kyoto. We have stayed at this property multiple times and every time was great. It’s also in a fantastic location. Easy access to everything. Shopping and restaurants are all close by.

Comfortable

Registration process used is unnecessarily time consuming. The hotel staff are friendly and pleasant, but most only have a rudimentary understanding of English. The hotel itself is clean and well maintained. The bedroom was on the small side, especially around the bed. There are no English language tv channels- in particular, no BBC or CNN news channel which I find a little poor.

Great location, clean, friendly and helpful staff

Location couldn’t get any better, right next to the Kyoto station, surrounded by food and shopping options. Hotel was clean, staff were so helpful. We were confused about the Kyoto station on our first day, and we were in a hurry to get to our meeting place for our tour, so we walked back to the hotel to ask for directions, but rather than just drawing us a map, the gentleman host at the hotel restaurant physically showed us the way by walking us through the Kyoto station. I wished I got his name, to thank him again . That’s what I call superior customer service.

Very close to the station and busses to all the attractions in Kyoto as well as to a wide selection of dining in the shopping centres and station area. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly and the rooms spacious and clean. Breakfast was as good as anywhere I have travelled with both east and west options.

Comfort and location

Location was so prefect, leaving our baggage a little early was no problem. When we checked in the bags were already in our room. The room was much bigger than anything we had previously. Very safe and accessible to train, buses and taxi if you happen to karaoke too late.

One of the best places we stayed at during our trip. Very convenient location and facilities. Breakfast buffet was mixed for us: some in our family enjoyed it while some didn’t. One family member also had an allergic reaction because of poor labeling or cooking practices (maybe they reused utensils).

Wonderful Stay

The hotel was modern and beautiful. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The staff was so attentive and accommodating. The restaurant buffet was excellent. The lobby was as spectacular as a movie set. The hotel is in a quiet street, yet two blocks from Kyoto Tower.

Great hotel, great location, great staff

Lovely hotel, extremely convenient location. Super helpful staff - everyone went out of their way to make sure we got what we needed. As an example, we wanted vegetarian ramen, and a staff member diligently worked with us to find somewhere. (Tip: On the 10th floor of the train station, there's a ramen market, and one of the places has both vegan and hallal ramen.) Only very minor downside is no hand lotion in the sundries baskets in the lobby or in the room.

The hotel is located next Kyoto station, all attractions were easily accessible. Breakfast was excellent, staffs were kind and helpful. But no laundry machine or spa.
