The hotel has modern, clean, and relatively spacious rooms for Japan, and the location is very central with easy access to public transport and shops.
However, it doesn’t fully feel like a 4-star property. Storage space is minimal — you can’t even slide a suitcase under the bed, which makes organizing the room tricky. Laundry facilities are few, and staff, while polite, seemed hesitant with English communication.
The hotel seems to want to follow a “green” policy, but it felt counterproductive: all toiletries were removed daily, even if unused or barely used. One day I ended up with no shampoo, conditioner, or shower gel in the room, and when I asked reception for a replacement set to be delivered, I was told I had to come down myself.
Breakfast is disappointing for a 4-star hotel — there’s only plain coffee, no espresso or cappuccino, and limited variety overall. I’ve stayed in 3-star hotels in Japan with better breakfast options.
Overall, good for location and clean, modern rooms, but service and amenity gaps make it feel closer to a mid-range 3-star hotel than a true 4-star.
