Welcome to Bon Temps, an elegant, sumptuously decorated beach house boasting an ocean view and private beach access just steps from your front door. Bon Temps spares no expense when it comes to the comforts of home. This property sits prominently on a large corner lot in the popular beach community of Kure Dunes. With living areas on three levels, you can have bedtime privacy for the entire family! Dedicate yourself to fun and play for children and adults alike on the ground floor, grab a cold drink out of the extra garage fridge, and enjoy a casual happy hour around the ping pong table in this roomy house. The main living level boasts copious seated dining and comfortable upholstered seating and a massive farmhouse kitchen with full cooking capabilities. The bedrooms and bathrooms are nicely spaced throughout for maximum privacy for a large family or multiple couples.

Ground Level:

2-car garage with a parking pad that accommodates 6 cars.
Extra storage, extra refrigerator, and ping pong table.
Outdoor patio with hammock and seating.
Family Guest Bedroom Suite with 1 Queen bed and 2 Twin Beds.
Ensuite Bathroom with walk-in shower.
Living area/ Play Room with Cable TV

Level 2:
Wrap around covered porch, with outdoor dining, generous side seating for 10, and hammock.
Sitting room with upholstered sofa and side chairs,  and a comfy home office desk and chair. 
Large living room with upholstered sofa/loveseat, side chairs, and cable TV.
Full bathroom with walk-in shower.
Farmhouse Kitchen with copious cabinets and gas cooktop.
Casual Dining room with seating for 6 at the table, and a Formal dining room with seating for 10 at the table.

Level 3:
Primary Bedroom with king bed, side seating vignette, access to a large private deck, Cable TV, and ceiling fan.
Ensuite master bathroom with wet bar/coffee bar, freestanding oval bathtub and walk-in tiled shower.
Ensuite Children's Guest Bedroom with Full Daybed, and Twin Trundle, sleeping 3 children. Side chairs, decorative fireplace, wet bar sink, ceiling fan, and cable TV.
Washer and Dryer in the hall.
Guest Bedroom with Twin bunk beds, Extra twin bed, ceiling fan, and cable TV.
Shared full bathroom with bathtub/shower.
Guest Bedroom with Queen Bed, ceiling fan, and cable TV.

Parking:

Private Driveway for 6 Vehicles. 
No on-street parking: this is monitored by the HOA and you must adhere to these rules. For additional parking options please visit the Town of Kure Beach website. Kure Beach Community does not allow any parking on the grass or street.

Linens - Beds will be made with clean sheets, bath towels will be laying on the end of the beds, bathmats provided in each bathroom, kitchen towel and dish sponge provided. (Guest will need to make any trundle, sofa beds, or top bunks.) 
 

Rental Policies:

In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Things to bring:
Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.

Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm
Off Season Check-ins begin at 3 pm and are guaranteed by 5 pm
Check-out is by 10 am. 
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

No events such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, sororities/fraternities

You must be at least 25 to rent this unit.

Pet Policy:
Dogs Allowed - The first dog is included in the price of the Rental. Subsequent dogs are subject to an additional payment and restrictions! Carolina and Kure Beaches are pet-friendly, but you must follow town guidelines. Please check the town website for beach pet restrictions

Cancellation Policy:- Free cancellation within 48 hours of booking 
- After 48 hours of booking and more than 60 days out from arrival, a full refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation debit. 
- After 48 hours of booking and within 60 days of arrival, there will be no refund processed unless the dates are re-rented. If premises are re-rented, a refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation debit.

Things to do:
Adventure awaits. Discover aquatic wildlife and vegetation at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher or enjoy a relaxing ferry ride across the Cape Fear River to a quaint little shopping town called Southport. Take a trip back in time at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Museum which features live oak-covered trails and bunkers from the American Civil War. Stroll through the marsh to visit the home of the famous Ft. Fisher Hermit. Or wind down with nature at our two state parks, sure to provide a memorable experience with hiking, fishing, and water activities such as paddle boarding and kayaking, and search for a Venus Flytrap which is native to NC only. As one of North Carolina's most undeveloped beaches, the island offers a unique opportunity to see many diverse coastal wildlife, including pelicans and loggerhead sea turtles, in their natural habitat. Whether it’s exploring activities on the island, enjoying the ocean views, or enjoying a cocktail by sunset from your own private balcony, Pleasure Island offers diversion for every enthusiast!

Explore the treasures of Carolina Beach, ranked one of the top 10 boardwalks in the country by Food & Wine magazine. One of the last remaining beach boardwalks on the East Coast, it includes a variety of restaurants, an arcade, shops, ice cream, Famous Britts Donuts, bars, and more! During the summer months, the Boardwalk is bustling with the sound of music, carnival rides, bingo, family nights, and events like the weekly fireworks and concert series.  Annual off-season events include the Cape Fear Kite Festival, Christmas by the Sea, and the Island of Lights Festival.
