Good location to visit city attractions

Comfortable stay, room is spacious, but I feel room is a bit cold at 1c. 2 small heaters are not enough for big room if staying alone. This room is good for 3 people. Good location to visit city attractions.

Overall it was a comfortable stay and I enjoyed the experience of self-catering. However there were a couple of unfortunate aspects: 1: people will have to ensure they travel light as, if they have a heavy suitcase, it means hefting it up 75 steps; and 2: I sent a message to the owner politely asking if my friend and I could leave our luggage until it was time for us to leave but we did not get the courtesy of a reply. Instead an employee arrived to insist that we had to get out. As mentioned, overall good experience with the square and local grocery shops close to the premises and there were utensils in the kitchen to assist my friend and I with our culinary skills.

Great hotel in a lovely city

Hotel was lovely, well appointed, and in a perfect location. Staff were exceedingly helpful. Would recommended to anyone. Restaurant was also excellent.

The communication before we arrive was amazing from the owners. The room was lovely and the bathroom was also nice. The only one issue I would have is that the only form of air conditioning we had was a fan which wasn’t really powerful enough but it was okay for the two nights that we stayed.

Perfect place to stay in the heart of Old Town

We loved our stay at Royal Route 29. The room was spacious and impeccably clean with super comfy beds. The shared kitchen was a great place to have breakfast and plan our day, and being in the heart of the Old Town, the location can’t be beat. Iwona & Robert were extremely helpful when we were trying to plan our long weekend in Krakow.

Old Town Comfort

Right in the heart of the Old Town and only 7-8 minutes walk from Krakow Glowny (Central Railway Station). Booked a few months ago and was advised by Hotels.com to contact Hotel 24 hours prior to arrival to receive instruction on check-in. Owner, Iwona, was well ahead of the game. She contacted me via email 2 days prior to my arrival with a full set of instructions on how to get to the hotel from the Railway Station. Gave me full set of codes and instructions on how to get the keys to the apartment and leaving the same way. This saved a LOT of time and really appreciated the clear communication. If you don't have email then of course you could call the number provided and no doubt the instructions would be relayed in the same concise manner. Room was clean, comfortable and airy. No air conditioner, but the window on the second floor was able to be opened. There is a lot of night life in the area, so be warned that it is not quiet on a weekend! The church bells ring and the trumpeters play at 5am in the morning - quaint and nice if you like that sort of thing. I didn't mind it. VERY convenient hotel to get around Krakow - we were there 3 days and visited sites beyond Krakow also. Hotel owners provide tickets to Auschwitz and Zakopane if you are interested. Very happy with price and stay. Would recommend for solo and younger people, but maybe a bit noisy for families. Safe area.

Spacious, clean and close to the main plaza.

Experience was wonderful. Loved this place very much for its cleanliness and location. It was a very comfortable room and everything was super close. Iwona was super great at communicating and gave excellent instructions on entering the building. But overall, a very good experience. Thank you, Iwona!

Perfect

Before arriving the communicaton from the owners was fantastic. The process of arriving was really easy. Location is brilliant. Steps away from the main square and pick up location for tours. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and the room smelt fresh. It was 30 degrees when I visited so the room was quite hot (as you would expect). A large fan is provided that was very useful.

You can’t get a better location than this. However, with great location comes noise. So be prepared for noise outse your window all night long (at least during summer). Bring earplugs. Very comfortable and clean. Small kitchen with Fantastic espresso maker and all you need for espresso or tea. Great communication frim owner, who also arranged for convenient airport transfer by private car. (Gregory was great!) Only suggestions for improvement are: 1) room #1 needs a mirror inside the room, since the bathroom is not in the room. 2) again for room #1, a second set of keys would be great, so guests could be independent of each other. Would definitely stay here again.

Convenient, clean and comfortable!

Great location in old city center and convenient self serve key retrieval instructions. Place is on a small side but no problem for solo traveler like myself. Comfortable bed and clean overall. Strong WiFi but NO TV which was no problem for me.

Newer rooms in heart of Krakow.

Was nervous bout there being no reception desk but owner Iwona gave perfect chech on instruction. If rooms are not new, they look like they are. There can be a little street noise at night, but was not a problem for me. And was only for to being on one of the busier streets in town. Loved this place.

The room was facinating, location in the middle of a very nice walking district and very close to all the major attractions in krakow, hotel owner is always emailing you with any update and even left a couple of sweets around as a welcome gesture. Realy would recommend it and i hope i come back one more time.

Brilliant

Marvellous location in the very heart of Krakow old town. The apartment was immaculate and cosy. Iwona the owner arranged trips to Auschwitz and the Salt Mine as well as our airport transfers at really good prices. We didn't use the kitchen as we ate out but it was great for making warming cups of tea!
