Our stay at Hotel Wielopole from Dec 4-9, 2025, was exceptional. While Krakow is a beautiful city, the team at this hotel made our trip truly special. The front desk staff were simply amazing - friendly, extremely helpful, and constantly going out of their way to make us feel welcome. The hotel really embraced the season; the Christmas decorations were beautiful, and we loved the fun daily message board. A real highlight was the evening vodka tasting in the lobby - such a unique and welcoming touch! You honestly cannot beat this location. It is extremely close to The Old Town (an easy walk), which was perfect for visiting the Christmas markets. It was also very convenient for all of our tour pickups, making the logistics of our trip stress-free. The room was on the smaller side, but it was spotless and perfectly adequate for our needs. Given the location and the service, the size was a minor trade-off we were happy to make. I would highly recommend Hotel Wielopole to anyone visiting Krakow!

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was a bit on the small side but spotlessly clean and quiet. It's just a 5 minute walk to the square with coffee shops nearby. The restaurant was closed for refurbishment which was unfortunate as we'd booked it based on it catering for vegans, but the staff provided breakfast in a nearby venue and liaised with them to cater for us so it wasn't the end of the world.

Clean, perfect and only a few steps from the old town center. Rooms are smaller, but everything is very clean and well maintained. VERY convenient to shopping at the Galleria Krakoska. If you want to know what it’s like to live in the Stare Miesto - Old Town Center- and enjoy evening walks - this is the place.

I scoured reviews for the best bang for my buck, AND as a solo traveler, having 24/7 front desk staff on site was important to me. Hotel Wielopole checks ALL the boxes and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! The premise is quaint; my room was comfortable, quiet, clean, and sufficient; the staff was friendly and helpful (check out their white board by the elevator with daily comments, the weather, reminders, and restaurant suggestions) and the location is in excellent walking proximity to the train station, main square, castle, and Jewish Quarter. I fell in love with Krakow and am grateful for my pleasant stay at this property! A few tips: -If you’re booking tours with transportation, the Wielopole 2 Kiss and Ride stop is right out the front door. -Indian Flame restaurant down the street is delish. -Save space in your luggage and don’t pack a hair dryer; the one provided in the bathroom is sufficient. -Green Nero Coffee next door is lovely.
