Villa for 6 people, dating from 1912 and completely renovated in April 2019. Sans Gène is one of the oldest houses in St-Idesbald and is located in a quiet street a few steps from the Delvaux museum, the beach and shops. We have left it with its authentic character while offering you the comfort of today (beautiful kitchen equipped with dishwasher, Wifi, television with Telenet connection, washing machine, dryer ... etc).
The decoration and the furniture have been chosen with care, with the aim of putting you in "vacation" mode as soon as you open the door. The small south-facing garden invites you to relax and have a good time. We are delighted to be able to share with you our love for this beautiful house and to spend unforgettable holidays with family, with your children, grandchildren, as a couple ...

We had a lovely stay at Benny and Katrine’s villa. It was a fantastic base for us to travel around northern France and Belgium. We particularly enjoyed our day trip to Bruges. Use the coast tram - it is really good for travelling along the coastal towns.

Everything you could want!

Beautiful house with all the amenities and an occasional surprise here and there. We loved the rotund lady about to dive into the water! Everything that you need has been anticipated and provided. The location is ideal, peaceful neighborhood, 5 minutes' walk to the beach. We love to watch a movie in the evening and were well supplied with Telenet and Netflix. The only difficulty was on sunny evenings, we couldn't see the TV screen very clearly.

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf in de mooie villa "Sans Gène"! Indien de muren hier zouden kunnen praten !Jullie hebben werkelijk aan alles gedacht, TOP ! Het huis is piekfijn in orde en zeer netjes ! De ligging is perfect, de mooiste wandelingen beginnen gewoon aan de voordeur ! Het is een zeer gezellige buurt met nog meer pareltjes van architectuur om te bewonderen en te fotograferen.

Ein liebevoll gestaltetes Ferienhaus zum Wohlfühlen. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet, so gut haben wir es selten erlebt. In nur 5 Minuten ist man zum Strand gelaufen und genießt das Meer, auch Bäckereien und ein kleiner Supermarkt sind in kurzer Laufnähe vorhanden. Die Kommunikation im Vorhinein und während des Aufenthalts war sehr freundlich und angenehm.

October break at the Northsea

The house was every bit as charming as suggested by the fotos and perfectly equipped. The walk to the beach short and pleasent and the overall location very good. Katrien and her partner were very welcoming, helpful and patient, although we arrived with some delay. We will love to come back.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus

Wir haben dieses Haus eine Woche mit 4 Erwachsenen und einem Kind bewohnt. Bei der Ankunft wurden wir sehr herzlich begrüßt. Bei einem Problem mit unserem Fahrzeug haben sich die Vermieter sehr hilfreich gezeigt. Das Haus, die Ausstattung und die Lage entsprachen unseren Vorstellungen und der Beschreibung voll und ganz. Der Strand, die Tram und De Panne sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße und eine Einkaufsmöglichkeit (Spar) ist zu Fuß in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und werden gerne wiederkommen.

Cosy house

We loved the house and especially the kitchen. Not only do you have a fully equipped kitchen, the quality of the tableware and the kitchen tools is extraordinary. It does not feel like a rented out holiday home but a family resort in a quiet street. Katrijn and her husband have put a lot of care into the decoration and style of the house. Thank you!

La maison idéale

Nous avons passé une semaine dans cette maison, qui est incroyablement équipée, tout y est pensé pour le bien-être et le confort des résidants. En plus, la maison est située à deux pas de la digue, de la rue commerçante avec des commerces de grande qualité et du musée Delvaux. Nous recommandons cet endroit à tous ceux qui veulent visiter la mer du Nord.

Fin d'année réussie à St. Isdebald

Nous avons passé des vacances très réussie à 6 dans la villa à St. Isdebald et avons été accueillis de façon très agréable par les propriétaires le 1er jour. La maison est magnifique, pratique et dispose de tout ce dont on a besoin. A 6 personnes on y a déjeuné sans encombre presque chaque jour. Juste un petit bémol par rapport aux températures dans les chambres au 3e étage qui étaient très froides. Cela ne nous empêchera cependant pas de revenir dans cette belle maison.

A house to fall in love with

We had wonderful holidays. Along with the beautiful beach and charming village, the house was definitely a highlight. Its absolutely lovely furnished and decorated. Everything is thought-out and designed for a perfectly comfortable stay. There are games for children (for every age), toys for the beach and even bicycles. The hosts are very helpful, discrete and trustful. We can fully recommend the stay in this stunning house.

Wunderbare Herbstwoche

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche im Herbst hier zu viert verbracht. Das Haus ist wunderschön, es fehlt an nix, es ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Das Viertel ist sehr nett, grün, abwechslungsreich bebaut und nur ein Steinwurf vom Strand gelegen. Wir haben viel erlebt, von Wanderungen (Sahara im Naturschutzgebiet), Strandtagen, Ausflügen nach Brügge, Gent und DeHaan - das war sehr abwechslungsreich und gut erreichbar. Das morgendliche Walken am Strand, die Vanillepudding Croissant von Dimas (Bäcker fussläufig) und natürlich belgische Waffeln werden wir schmerzlich vermissen. Unsere Vermieter haben uns sehr freundlich begrüßt & für eine leckere erste Erfrischung gesorgt - und auch die Übergabe am Ende der Mietzeit verlief reibungslos! Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Erholsame Urlaubswoche in großartingem Ferienhaus

Ganz toll renoviertes altes Haus in ruhigem Wohngebiet. Wir haben nur Pluspunkte. Das Haust ist sehr (!) sauber, und mit den vier Schlafzimmern hatten wir (6 Personen) großzügig Platz. Das Haus ist toll eingerichtet, neben moderner Küche und Bad fällt auch auf wie vollständig die komplette Ausstattung in der Küche ist. Sehr gutes WLAN. Gute Lage - schöner Strand zu Fuss in 5 Minuten erreichbar, ebenso Restaurant und Bäckerei. Weiterer Pluspunkt - es stehen 2 gute Fahrräder zur Verfügung. Abstimmung mit der Vermieterin im Vorfeld und Organisation von An- und Abreise problemlos. Haus und Vermieter können wir sehr gut empfehlen!
