Good value...very close to downtown Chaweng

The Samui Star Guest House is a great value for the money. You will be only minutes to downtown Chaweng and seconds away from the main ring road. The hotel is quiet and peaceful and the bed was very comfortable. The swimming pool looked nice although I didn't swim. The management was very friendly and welcoming. The quality of the building and the room was a bit lackluster. Cheap construction with a few missing important details...such as a bathroom door. However, for the price the value is still very good for a few nights. I would rate this guesthouse 2.5 stars.

Great guesthouse

Great service, wi-fi, and shower. 15 min walk to Chaweng Beach 20-25 min walk to Central festival (150THB MC-Taxi). Pool that no one uses.
