the hotel was clean and exactly what we needed for our 1 night stop. However the front desk staff were rude judgy and didn’t make us feel comfortable. It was feeling like they didn’t want us to be there and the looks we were given and the tone we were spoken too in was very disapproving and they spoke down to us. Because we are 19, we paid for a room and we made our deposit. They had no right to make us feel that way because of our age .

Unbeatable Price, Clean and Scent-free

Clean and scent-free. Right of the highway but no issue with noise from outside. Close to the mall. A 15-minute drive to university of Waterloo which is where our main destination.but the price for the night is unbeatable. Breakfast is okay and reception is nice. The only negative is the A/C is quite loud like a motorbike but I slept through it. I don't know if all rooms are like that though.

This has been the absolute worst hotel stay I've ever had and I've been to a lot of hotels. Not only we're we woken up at 2:30am and threatened to be kicked out for a noise complaint that wasn't even from our room, our deposit was also stolen by the hotel aswell, stating we were smoking in the room, when if they were to check the security footage, they would see us lesving our room to smoke. What makes it efen worse, is the first complaint they brought to us, was about us leaving our room too late to smoke and making too much noise doing so. The front desk staff we're very unprofessional, without even figuring out where the noise was coming from first, decided to attack us. After the room next to us the ones who made the complaint, called the front desk multiple times and explained they had the wrong room, the front desk staff finally came upstairs to deal with the actual room causing the issue. I am livid at my experience, I do not recommend anyone to stay here.

Horrible check in and customer service!

Check in was horrible! Was called at 6pm while traveling 5 hours to this hotel to be told my visa debit didn’t go through… of course it didn’t it was a reservation to pay at the property when I arrived. They told me if I did not provide a valid card for them to process now because they were “busy” they would cancel my 2 night reservation! Very unprofessional and did not give one care that we were a few hours away yet, I quickly obliged but trust me if I had another alternative I would have cancelled myself. I’m an avid traveler for sports with my family and I will NEVER use a Quality Inn again!
