Wonderful stay!

The hotel was wonderful. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only issue for my friend was he has disabiliies so the bed was too soft for him he said. It didn't offer him the support he needed for his back but for me it was comfy. I have stayed before and would again.

This hotel is very nice. Our room was large and clean. The bathroom was excellent, probably one of the nicest and cleanest I have seen. The mattress on the bed was just okay. It actually sloped on the one side. Not up to par with everything else in this lovely hotel.

The room was a great size for my family of 5. The walk in shower was really nice and easy to access. The toilet is too low for a person with mobility isssues. The pool was great and the staff were friendly. The breakfast had a good amount of options. We all had a great sleep on the comfortable beds.

Nice hotel, comfortable stay, nice warm pool!

Beautiful hotel, well-maintained, comfortable beds, beautiful washroom….And a Lovely warm pool.. I would say that the consistently warm temperature of the pool was the highlight of this property. Breakfast on the first day (which was a Civic holiday) was not the best considering that it’s a Hampton Inn, but the next day was a lot better .. it was less crowded too. This hotel REALLY DOES NEED to get one of those larger, hotel sized toasters with a rolling bed… the toaster they have right now is super slow, resulting in huge queue ups.….And this really was an inconvenience when the hotel was as packed as it was this Simcoe Day/ Civic Holiday Monday. The view from the rooms in front is that of the side of the Hilton Homewood Suites… but there is a very nice Strip Mall with nice stores and a Farmer’s Market and a Mennonite Museum and few good restaurants and a Distillery Restaurant with a beautiful patio named Stockyard Distillery just steps away. This hotel also has a bar and a restaurant “Das Bar”on site so that’s a convenience. Front Office Staff need training on being more friendly and approachable…I personally found the Staff in the Hotel diagonally across the road a lot warmer and more welcoming …and we visit and stay at St. Jacob’s often.
