We loved staying at Hale Kai O Kihei. The unit was very clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The property itself was quiet and peaceful, with a fantastic location and stunning ocean and sunset views every single day.The unit is on the smaller side but perfect for two guests. For a family of four, however, I would not recommend it. The pull-out couch is quite uncomfortable to sleep on, and once it is opened, there is very little room to walk through the living area to the balcony.One of our favorite parts of the stay was having breakfast on the balcony every morning and enjoying dinner while watching the sunset. The balcony is small but ideal for two people.A few suggestions for the owner:It would be great to have a TV mounted in the bedroom wall. Since there is only one TV in the living room, we had to open the pull-out couch whenever we wanted to relax and watch movies, and the couch is not very comfortable for extended use.I would also recommend adding a French press for coffee. Personally, I prefer not to use appliances made with black plastic.An electric tea kettle (preferably non-plastic) or a stovetop tea kettle would also be appreciated. I enjoy tea in the afternoons and did not have a good option for boiling water.I would suggest replacing the current cookware with stainless steel pots and pans. The existing cookware is inexpensive Teflon-coated cookware, which I did not feel comfortable using for boiling water or
