Cozy, spacious guest rooms, cheery island decor and lush tropical palm trees swaying all around have you feeling like you are truly in Paradise.

DETAILS AND AMENITIES...
Pull up to your island dream home with off street parking and step inside this serene getaway. Enjoy an open floor plan with high ceilings, terra cotta tile floors throughout and incredible natural lighting seen through several sets of French doors looking out to the picturesque tropical pool area. Whip up your favorite meals with the family in the updated and fully equipped kitchen that comes with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Indoor seating for 6 and ample outdoor dining allow for enjoying your family meals together.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS...
The first level comes with a guest room consisting of a queen size bed and en suite full bathroom. French doors from the guest room open up to the inviting outdoor pool space and seating area. Adjacent to the great room is a convenient half bath. Travel upstairs to find the master king suite that opens up to a private, covered balcony overlooking the lush pool area during your morning coffee or evening cocktail hour. Steps across the hall you will find another cozy king guest bedroom. All bedrooms come with ceiling fans, flat screen TVs and en suite bathrooms with a shower/tub combo.

OUTDOOR LIVING...
Wind down out on the covered back deck area with several loungers surrounding and a propane gas grill which make for the perfect family entertainment spot. The spacious heated private heated lap pool is the perfect evening activity to wrap up a fun Key West day by swimming under the stars in your peaceful surroundings. This community’s pathways are just a few steps away from all the island's main attractions including Fort Zachary Taylor State Park, Truman White House and all the best local bars, restaurants and tourist attractions.

PARKING...
Driveway fits up to two vehicles. No trailers, boats, jet skis or motor homes are allowed. No vehicle length over 18’ long, including trailer hitches, or 80” wide is allowed on property. Additional vehicles may park in the Opal Key Resort parking garage just a five minute walk/drive away.

PETS...
Pets are permitted with a required pet fee. Please provide pet size, breed and age upon booking.

MULTI MONTH RESERVATIONS...
For monthly reservations, the following fees will be added PER MONTH:

BOOKING DATES...
This home is only available as a monthly rental (28 night minimum). We prefer to book by the calendar month (first day of the month to the last). We may consider alternate dates if the calendar allows or if the owner will make an exception.

Enjoy our concierge service to assist you with planning activities for your trip, from bike/scooter/golf cart rentals to any excursion you can think of including snorkeling and sunset cruises, jet ski rentals, parasailing, kayaking, fishing, paddle boarding and much more. They can also have your fridge stocked with all the necessities in advance of your arrival!

CANCELLATION...
Bookings canceled at least 90 days before the start of stay will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations inside of 90 days may receive a refund if we are able to re-rent any or all of the dates of the stay. The refund amount is dependent upon the rate of the new reservation. For multi-month reservations for January through March, a refund will only be offered in the event we are able to re-rent. The refund amount is dependent upon the rate of the new reservation.

Lovely stay in a perfect location. However, had to kill two one inch plus roaches in the bathroom and definitely the two top bedroom carpets not vacuumed since we found items on the rug.

Two week holiday @ XMAS 2024

We had a wonderful two week stay at this home with an incredible location! The neighborhood (Truman Annex) is very pleasant and easy walking distance to just about everything we wanted to do or see. Overall, we had nearly everything we needed in the way of amenities. That said, the home is quite dated. Kitchen is very small but well supplied, but needs nonstick pans, sharper knives, and a pantry space. TV in living room is small and in a cabinet, when a mounted big screen would be perfect in the same spot. Bathrooms are functional but outdated old fixtures and no walk-in showers, but good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Towels and linens were OK, but at least one mattress was sprung. Outdoor space is quite nice, but be aware the sun does not shine on the pool, because of tropical growth (which is great for privacy). Loud compressors near patio with no temporary off switch (pool heater) made it hard to enjoy the space peacefully. Grill was functional, after some TLC, but rusty burner covers may cause uneven cooking. The two upstairs bedrooms would be tough to get to for older people or anyone with bad knees (18 steps). Two guests had insect bites on their lower legs incurred during a good nights sleep? NOT bed bugs. Looked like fleas?I am sure the mgmt. team (real estate brokers) would address any renter concern and the location can't be beat but our total cost was 3k per night total so expectations were understandably very high. Overall four stars plus!

Outstanding Property and Location

This property is actually bigger than the photos make it appear. Three good size bedrooms and large living room a really spacious pool area. The pool is large and mostly shaded at times during the day which in nice as the water was a great temp given the heat. (I was there in late May) If you want to find some sun there are open areas. The check in process was easy and management company friendly and accessible. The location is perfect, quiet cul-de-sac in gated community with easy access to Duval. Highly recommend.

The good, the bad and the ugly

The house and location would have been great, unfortunately there was a complete failure of the air-conditioning system while we were there that necessitated our moving to a far less desirable property. The property management group were exceptional and have refunded us appropriately for the needed changes.

Paradise Found!

Sapodilla House was the perfect place for our family! With three en-suite bedrooms, no couple had to share a bathroom, and the downstairs powder room was super convenient. The house was clean, well-stocked and in an awesome location (close to Duval but super quiet!). And can we talk about that pool?? We spent every afternoon enjoying the awesome outdoor space at this property. Brian, our property manager, did an excellent job communicating with us before, during and after our stay.

Beautiful home and great location

Very comfortable, spacious, and beautiful home with large partially covered deck, plenty of lounge chairs, chairs, and tables. Also a large, covered 2nd level balcony with 4 seats and small end tables. Comfortably air-conditioned, plenty of ceiling fans and all basic needs in the kitchen. Walking distance to pretty much everything. We rented a golf cart for a couple of days to go out further to beaches, but it was difficult to find parking in town. Highly recommend this property!

Great house, great location

The Sapodilla house was fantastic and the perfect location! We would absolutely stay here again. Truman Annex is beautiful and quiet, but only a block from all the action. We've been to Key West many times visiting family, but never stayed in Truman Annex before. I will not stay anywhere else after this. We have two children, 6 and 8, and this was the perfect house. The pool was very good-sized for Key West and the house was spacious with a well-stocked kitchen. We stayed home and grilled by the pool several nights and I enjoyed relaxing on the spacious balcony in the morning. Truman Annex is quiet enough that we rented bikes for the kids, too, and could bike around the neighborhood and to the playground, splash pad, and Fort Zack beach which are just a few blocks away. The nearest gate out of Truman Annex was also just steps away, so we could really easily get to all the restaurants, shops, the aquarium, Mallory Square sunset, etc.

Great house and perfect location

We had a wonderful stay at Sapodilla house. The location is absolutely perfect. Close enough to walk to everything but far enough off of Duval that it’s quiet and easy to relax. The house was clean, spacious and well appointed. The pool was the perfect temperature and very clean. The property management was top notch. They were very helpful when we needed them and communicated well through the whole stay. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Key West.

Cousins getaway

Christmas trip with family

We go away for a week each year with our family of 5. We were to stay on Stock Island, but due to a water leak in that property, it was cancelled, and through VRBO I found this property. It was great; the property management group communicated immediately and very well. The house is very close to all the fun on Duval, but because it’s in the Truman annex neighborhood, it’s very quiet. The house is well stocked, the heated pool area is great. Definitely would recommend this home
