Definitely showing age as worn down. Nuisances with the age of building as you could hear everything out in the hallway, outside, etc. Fan had a split system a/c that hummed all night. Good location overall for north side of KW. Wouldn’t stay again just due to age and overall upkeep Disappointed overall for cost

Excellent location with access to all areas of the island either on foot or bus. Breakfast was staffed by Sonia who went out of her way to meet any requests. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The only issue was not the hotel or services there. Its the location of the property. Its great to be in the center of everything but that comes at a price when it comes to trying to get some sleep. Is seldom quiets down even after hours. Bring earplugs if you have any interest in sleeping.

Room was really nice, great location. But for the price? Not worth it. Very expensive. The breakfast is just okay if you like fruit, sliced meat and hard boiled eggs. Don’t expect any meats like bacon, or sausage etc. If you want an omelette it’s $16.00USD. The water filter station is only available when the kitchen is open, and don’t drink the bottled water in the room. It’s $5.00 each. The pool is very small, we didn’t even use it. We were in the top floor, and can hear everyone on the street, vehicles and airplanes all night. Parking is offsite at a community lot which is $40.00USD a day. Street parking is not overnight. For the price, I would look elsewhere.

Very clean, good pool and outdoor seating, staff were very pleasant, the free breakfast was great, and a short walk to Duval st. and Schooners Warf. The only drawback is it can get loud outside, and is easily heard from inside the rooms near the road.

This is a historic mansion so with that comes it's "quirks" - so going in I understood it's not going to be as maintained as a 4 or 5 star traditional hotel or resort. That said, it's beautiful and quaint, and the workers are so kind and helpful. For the price, it would have been nice to have at least 1 warm breakfast item included daily (eggs to order cost extra) but I did appreciate the breakfast bruchetta & salmon and all the fruit. The room was totally spacious and gorgeous. Overall we had a great stay.

Location was great and convenient to Shopping/Entertainment/Food. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Drawback was bathroom not fully updated w/walk in shower and lack of chairs in room. Room was on 2Fl, not sure was prepared for the stairs but managed ok. Info at check in was not fully delivered. These comments would not deter us from returning but would be more mindful of the room location and inside of room accommodations.

We checked in and were given Room 14, and the condition was unacceptable from the start. The room was so humid that the bedding was damp, and there was a noticeable musty odor. After being out for the evening and returning later, the smell had intensified into a strong mold odor. It was so overwhelming that my husband couldn’t even sleep in the room and ended up sleeping outside by the pool. The next morning, we reported the issue to staff and were told there were no other rooms available and that they “normally would offer an ionizer, but don’t have any.” That was already concerning, but things got worse. A quick online search showed multiple rooms available, so the claim that nothing else was open was simply not true. Later, when I sent a written message asking for confirmation that nothing would be done, a new room suddenly became “available.” What made the situation even more troubling was what we found inside the room: multiple hidden odor-absorbing canisters tucked around the space. Clearly, the hotel knows this room has an ongoing mold problem but continues to rent it out for hundreds of dollars a night and then gaslights guests who raise concerns. Between the uninhabitable room, the misleading information from staff, and the obvious attempts to mask a known issue, this was an extremely disappointing experience. Guests deserve honesty and safe accommodations, and sadly, that is not what we experienced here.

Room 11 was a great location! Pool was nice a quiet. Breakfast was phenomenal. Our room was nice but water pressure was poor. Bed was comfortable and pillows great. Our door didn’t shut well. The location was very quiet and felt very safe. Walking distance to some great locations- The Bull on Duval 1 block, conch republic 2 blocks. They DID offer onsite moped parking in the employee parking spot. We had called ahead and were told there was no moped parking close. Also, the held our bags for us before check in. The breakfast staff was incredible. Front desk Craig was a bit inhospitable, especially when it came to the free sangria hour. My husband walked over to get a drink a few minutes before they stopped and Craig cut him off and said NO, and took the pictures. His character seemed very brass and un-relatable no matter how hard we tried.
