When arrived shown room which was fine. I dropped the breakfast menu which went under bed, when i went to pick it up i looked under bed it was full of rubbish not just bits but packets& crisps. I reported it they were horrified We changed rooms which was fine After this is was wonderful. Breakfasts were grt

Wonderful stay!

Beautiful surroundings, warm welcome on arrival and a lovely surprise room upgrade! Clean spacious rooms, tea and biscuits stocked up daily with house keeping. Very nice breakfast and great options. Staff are pleasant, professional and very friendly. I especially enjoyed the daily fresh bakery by the coffee machine in the communal lounge! Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be returning

What a charming little B&B. Such a warm, inviting group of people. Our room was incredibly spacious with a gorgeous view and the cooked to order breakfast in the mornings was amazing. Just a short walk into town and lots of options to eat. Definitely the best stay we’ve had thus far on our trip. Thank you to Adam and the team at the grange!

Beautiful place to stay

Had a lovely 2 day stay at the Grange Country House. When we got there we were greeted by Michael who was very welcoming and then to top it off he informed us we had been given a free room upgrade. Beautiful property. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, rooms were clean and comfortable and was in walking distance to Keswick. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you to all the staff.

Wonderful find

Beautiful place to stay. Stall all very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. We were in an attic room , it was beautifully decorated and view was fabulous. Plenty of outside seating where you could consume your own drinks. Glasses and ice were provided. It a 15-20 minute walk into Keswick mainly downhill. Coming back the hill is a bit challenging but there are a few seats to break your journey and I certainly wouldn’t let it put you off. I’m nearly 70 and I managed the walk twice a day.

Unique property, great breakfast and service. Coffee machine on ground floor lounge room was very welcome as was the lovely cake or slice that was left for guests. We stayed on the top floor where there was a beautiful view.

We had an unforgettable stay at The Grange Country House. The rooms were spotless, beautifully maintained, and filled with charm. The location strikes the perfect balance—peaceful, yet within easy reach of Keswick town and the surrounding fells. A special mention must go to Michael and Adam, who were courteous, welcoming, and genuinely keen to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. From great local tips to thoughtful little touches, their attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed. The breakfast was simply outstanding—fresh, delicious, and served with a smile. Amazing stay at the Grange. Guest house was immaculately clean, room was lovely, breakfast was delicious, nothing was too much trouble for the hosts.
