Peel Wyke is a delightful, two bedroom, semi-detached bungalow, which offers a light and airy feel, as well as panoramic fell views from a picture window over the town to Grisedale, Newlands and Causey Pike. The rear garden is paved and provides a private space to relax, unwind and enjoy the spectacular sunsets after walking the fells.
The bungalow has a cosy and relaxing living room and a nice bright kitchen/dining room with fantastic views over the hills. It is ideal for couples or families seeking a convenient base with access to all amenities. It is just 10 minutes’ walk from the town centre, Keswick’s parks, Derwentwater, the Theatre by the Lake and the leisure pool. Comfortable and well-equipped, the property has a great old fashioned cosiness, and makes an ideal base from which to explore this superb part of the Lake District, whether on foot, bicycle or by car. The Lake District was awarded World Heritage status in 2018 and really is the perfect destination for those who love to be outdoors. There are a wonderful variety of walks available right from the door and a good local bus service to take you further. Shop and pub ½ mile.
Please note that the drive to Peel Wyke is quite steep so please check there is sufficient clearance under your car, particularly if it has a long wheelbase or is heavily loaded.
