This pod is spacious and comfortable, finished to a high standard throughout with lots of attention to detail. It is situated on a working sheep farm, surrounded by the Northern Fells with fabulous views towards Blencathra. Although the location feels rural, you are just a mile away from Threlkeld village where you will find a couple of pubs, cricket pavilion and golf course. Keswick is just 4 miles away and annually, usually in May or June, it hosts the Mountain Festival, with world-class sports, outdoor activities, talks and films with live music. There are some fabulous walks, cycling routes and climbing available on your doorstep and your four-legged friend is also welcome! The open-air theatre on Derwentwater is well worth a visit, Mirehouse and gardens offers a lovely day out or why not visit The Lakes Distillery which is just 12 miles away.
Entering the pod, you will find a spacious bright open-plan living area with a sofa and Smart TV, which will allow you to log into your Netflix account and enjoy a good film. There is a double bed with views out over the fells and a kitchen area with a two-ring gas hob, microwave and fridge with ice compartment; it offers everything you need to rustle up breakfast and a quick bite. Finally, there is a shower room with a shower and WC.
The pod has a nice private seating area with stunning views and a private hot tub, there is a traditional dry-stone wall and planting around the accommodation. There is private parking for one car and a lovely covered decking to the front of the pod which allows you to sit out side whatever the weather.
