About Batavia Residence

Designed by a European architect, Batavia Residence is an amalgamation of three cultures – Dutch, Turkish and Portuguese. With three spacious bedrooms, the villa is perfect for both families and groups of friends travelling to Bali for a tropical holiday. Located in peaceful Umalas, Batavia Residence is nestled nicely within the surrounding areas of Seminyak, Canggu and Petitenget.
The Space
Peaceful and secluded, Batavia Residence comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests. The living room overlooks the swimming pool and has large bi-folding doors which open effortlessly to let in Bali’s tropical breezes. There is a separate TV room with cable TV and a fully equipped kitchen.
All bedrooms are bright, clean and very spacious, and have their own ensuite bathrooms. In addition, the Master bedroom is complimented with a full-size, outdoor covered patio, and has peaceful views of a green rice paddy.
For those looking to work on their tan, there are two sunbeds right next to the swimming pool!
Location
Batavia Residence is strategically located within the epicentre of the Seminyak-Canggu-Petitenget triangle, and is ideal for those wanting to stay away from the noise, but, close enough to the action. Within a 10 minute scooter-ride, you can access a variety of quality restaurants & cafes, trendy bars & beach-clubs, home-ware & antique stores, as well as relaxing day-spas. For those families, there is a Kids Club/Child Care Centre and Children's book & toy store within walking distance from the villa.
Guest Access
Batavia Residence is located on a small side-street, just off Jalan Dukuh Indah. Near the entrace of the side-street Staff are always available to greet guests and facilitate access to the villa.
Staff
The villa has 2 full-time staff who are kind and generous people to look after housekeeping, upkeep, and maintenance of the villa. The staff will be happy to arrange for a personal chef at a special cost, if you wish to enjoy professionally-made local meals!
