This property is going through some renovations, we were only here overnight so not sure what the construction noise level is during the day. The room was standard. We were disappointed by the breakfast which consisted of shelf stable pastries, boxed cereal and instant oatmeal packets. There were some waffles you could toast also. Beware

Too noisy for us.

We were given a room with an adjoining room and we had a sleepless night due to noisy neighbors. The hollow core door separating the rooms did nothing to lessen the effect of our arguing neighbors. In defense of the motel staff, the night manager did knock on the offenders door and asked them to be quiet. Which they did for all of 15 minutes. In the morning, at check out, we were informed that all of the available rooms were adjoining. So, even though the room was ok and the location was nice, we have to say, Never Again.

Room was very dated but they are currently doing updates. We loved staying right on the Columbia river overlooking a beautiful bridge. Breakfast was good. It was fun being off the beaten path.

We would recommend this hotel on the Columbia River with two convenient restaurants next door. From the outdoor patio, we watched fishermen catch small mouth bass and saw the American cruise ship go by. I did swim in the outdoor pool. I reported to the front desk that after swimming in the pool, I broke out with inflamed itching over my body. We didn't smell any chlorine in the pool water. The breakfast provided was good as well as our room. Would lodge there again but not swim in the pool. It is a lovely property that hopefully keeps in business.

I have stayed here four times and have been pleased. I enjoy walking around the Island which I feel is very safe. Plenty of safe parking. Room and bed comfortable. My room had not yet been updated. Hotel is undergoing renovation. My hall had not been updated and the carpet was worn. I feel I got a very fair price for the not updated room.

The staff is very welcoming and they do their best to offer a clean lodging. The building is older and at the end of the pier which have several people parking and lingering. Overall the stay was uneventful but I did not feel safe walking my dog after dark.

The location is great, the hotel just needs an update. It was made in the 70s and it's just naturally time to work on it. It is being renovated tho. Maybe do some landscaping around the building after the renovations are done. Maybe update some of the lamps or something. IDK. There can be a fine line between character and updates needed. And I really like character even if it's not exactly my taste.

Clover Island Inn is an iconic place in Kennewick which is where I’m from. Even tho it’s not a five star property I still love the setting on the Columbia River and views of the cable bridge and enjoy staying there.

Nice little place, you can hear what is happening in the hallways and hallways can hear you as well! But not a big shocker spent 2 nights so didn’t feel unsafe and everyone super friendly and happy.
