You’re only going to a hotel like this to get a good night sleep. And that is not what happened at this hotel. The bed is dreadful two single beds pushed together with waterproof mattresses and a very thin sheet over the top which is not fitted. It was the most uncomfortable night sleep I’ve ever had. The only thing that was going was the shower.
booked this as a junior suite - it was a normal size double room - bed clean and comfortable but two singles zipped together. Very disappointed with this hotel. No staff on reception, no bell to ring - waited then went hunting and eventually one turned up, however his communication skills were terrible - could not follow what he said about breakfast etc but thought there would be a card in the room - no card in room. Aircon unit difficult to work out and it was wall mounted directly over the bed with long drip stains down the wall where something had leaked. All the furniture has stains scratches and scrapes on it. No plug in the washbasin and the shower cubicle was less than 1m square with a large shower head poking halfway across - you had to pin yourself to the opposite wall to get sprayed by it. Zero atmosphere - almost like a ghost ship. will not stay here again, there is a hotel in eyesight of this one we have stayed at before and will do so again in preference to this. Not worth it - GRIM

it is what it is.
What do you get for £69 quid these days? Not a lot. The staff are excellent, the bed is comfortable, and the room is tired but clean.
Breakfast is served from 7 to 9, with plenty to choose from and cold. The evening meal vast choice if you like Indian but only fish or scampi as an alternative. Very limited, as a place for workers good, for those who like a choice in cuisine not good and a longer stay not good. 2 days long enough. This is our second visit to this hotel unless we hear of major improvement it is our last.

Just OK
This Hotel was OK, that’s all I can say.
The bedrooms and bathrooms were a bit tired.
The bed consisted of 2 singles pushed together but the duvet was from a smaller bed so did not fit.
Bathroom sink did not have a plug and bath surface was peeling
The breakfast was just ok

Perfectly fine.
It was all perfectly fine apart from the shower curtain which had been positioned especially badly giving you only 30cm of showing space!
I was a bit apprehensive about staying after reading some reviews but was really surprised. I found the staff really friendly and helpful the bar staff were great. Our room had been recently refurbished and was clean and spacious. The bed was ok but could tell it had seen better days but still slept okay. We ate in the restaurant both nights we stayed and found the food to be really lovely and reasonably priced. All the staff had time for us and were eager to chat with us when we asked any questions. Will definitely stay here again. If you enjoy a walk just down from the hotel is a public path which leads you to a trail along the river Avon which was a really nice walk
A large recently renovated conference type hotel with economic weekend rates.
Clean, tidy and comfortable for an overnight stay.
Only downside was a small bar with bottled drinks only and a very minimal restaurant menu.
A short two mile drive to Kenilworth provided an abundance of food and drinks.

Cracking shower and clean.
Good size rooms ;very helpful staff ,Albert was a very good receptionist, bar man ,rooms need bit of a tweak ,New bathroom in room and shower possible the best I’ve used in all the hotels over 20 years , overall a good stay and very helpful staff
Friendly staff, not much information available about what food was available at the hotel. No breakfast or evening meal menus anywhere. Room was clean and comfortable. Shame the curtains didn't fit properly and let lots of light in, no rail or coat hangers in the wardrobe and no plug in the sink. But overall a good stay.
