The property was in good condition and close to the highway. The facilities were good. Breakfast was typical for IHG i.e. it was good but lacks vegetarian options. Recommended.

Staff were welcoming, I had a phone call to my room to see if everything was ok. Young man in bar very helpful. I chose this hotel because it was near the hospital where I was visiting an elderly relative. There was no where I could go for a short walk, as the hotel is situated on xx dual carriage way. Still it fulfilled my needs.

Nice holiday inn

Very friendly on reception and in restaurant. Food was surprisingly good. Gym quite compact but works. Did not use the pool, but the spa tub appeared empty and the pool looked bigger in the photos.

The bed was very small, it was very uncomfortable. My partner is 6ft 4, hence we had no sleep for two nights as we had no room. When we lay down on the bed, the mattress would slide down away from the wall leaving a huge gap meaning the pillows were falling down the back. We had a word with receptionist who said all the beds were the same size, she said she would have a word with her manager and she would advise us on what the outcome was (they never got back to us) breakfast was a good choice, bacon was as tough as old boots and the sausage was awful tasted nothing like sausage and that was once you could cut through the skin on it, scrambled egg was in the form of a block, mushrooms came with a puddle of grease. Most disappointing part was the fact that me and my partner got no sleep for two nights and that they didn’t seem to care…no offer of a bigger bed nor some money back, they just didn’t care or take us seriously! Very disappointed. We will not be returning and if anyone wants a decent breakfast and a good nights sleep, then I suggest you avoid this hotel

We had an amazing stay at the Holiday Inn, Swindon. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They couldn't do enough for us. Our rooms were very comfy and clean. We are definitely returning

Family room for one night

Reception staff very friendly. Free psrking was useful. The kids were offered a complimentary drink and cookie which they really enjoyed. The sofa bed wasnt that comfortable but fine for one night. The changing room in the pool was fairly dirty and the limited swimming pool hours for kids meaht we only used it once.

Could have been better.

Disappointed that one of the spa facilities was not available, the jacuzzi. I specifically picked this hotel because of the spa facilities. If l had known that the jacuzzi was not working and therefore not available l would not have booked. After speaking with some of the members of the spa it became apparent that the jacuzzi has been out of service since October of last year 2024.
