This was our first time staying at the Rec Inn and Suites. We chose a proper suite with kitchenette and all. The room was very well sound proofed from our neighbours and helped with my normally restless sleep. The area around us was reasonably quiet as well. The advertised continental breakfast was much more stocked in person than we were anticipating. Which was perfect for our needs. We will absolutely be staying again.

Nice kitchen with a nice sized fridge and stove. Unfortunately, only one average pot and one average fry pan to cook with. No pans to use the oven. Room was quiet for being so close to a busy route.

This motel is a great location..with an excellent breakfast including hard boiled eggs, cereal, toast, yoghurt, fruit, muffins and coffee. The kitchettes are great if staying awhile. Although the rooms are well used, they are clean. The staff couldn’t be nicer! Good value if the prices stay reasonable.

The property is old and although there has been refurbishment in the rooms the age shows. Proximity to Highway 97 (Harvey Ave) and a busy service station made for a very noisy location. Especially overnight. Check in was good. The office attendant Kris was pleasant and efficient. The continental breakfast, served in a separate room, was plentiful, with an okay variety (no meat) and the room cheerful.
