Come Stay On The Farm In Our Lovingly Restored 1909 Arts And Crafts Farmhouse

At the heart of the Okanagan Valley's fruit and wine country, Mission Creek Country Inn is set on a farm on Mission Creek between the historic log buildings of Pandosy Mission, Kelowna's first European settlement, and a regional park. The farm's 37 acres of pastures and woods are more like the Kelowna of 1909 when cattle and sheep were more common than today’s orchards and vineyards.

Our place isn’t luxurious in the usual sense; in over one hundred years of continual use the house has acquired some creaks and wrinkles. The farm, with its trees, pastures, flowers and gardens is a special place which we feel happy to share with those who appreciate such things. That’s our luxury.

We’ve done our best to create a quiet rustic refuge for you to use as your headquarters to explore the Okanagan and experience a restful pace of life. You can visit the nearby wineries, golf courses, Okanagan lake, or the historic Kettle Valley railway’s Myra Canyon, or ride a bike on the nearby creek-side "greenway", then come home and visit out on the shady front porch—just like grandma used to do.

Owners Mark and Amber live in the basement (separated by a lockable door) and will do everything we can to make sure your stay is comfortable and relaxing.
There's a private patio. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. The bathroom has a shower/tub combination and a hair dryer. Conveniences include a phone, as well as a microwave and a coffee/tea maker.
Take in the views from a garden and make use of amenities such as barbecue grills.

Our stay at the farmhouse was everything we wanted and needed! A beautiful home and perfect location - close to everything but tucked quietly away from the busyness. Mark was a great host and easy to get ahold of.

I'll start by saying that the hosts were very kind and understanding. They were one of the bright points of our stay. The actual house is really cool and I loved the actual house. For these two reasons this is why I'm able to rate it more than just a single star. The cleanliness and clutter was ultimately why the downfall of our stay. It looked like nothing had been cleaned before we got there and there were so many fruit flies in the kitchen that I didn't feel comfortable cooking in the kitchen. Ultimately we decided to cut our stay short and only stay 2 out of the 5 nights that we had initially booked due to the cleanliness. The hosts were very understanding and refunded us 3 nights, which we are very greatful for. We have given the hosts our feedback and details of what we found needed cleaning, which was well recieved and we are hopeful that they are able to take the constructive criticism and improve the cleanliness for the next guests.

Stayed with 8 adults and 2 kids. Overall a great stay. A little hot at nights but that is expected during the peak summer in Kelowna and without AC. Lovely property and close to everything.

Beautiful home and fabulous location. Perfect for a family reunion. The first few days were very hot, but Mark showed how to keep the house cool. It dropped into the 60’sF at night. All was very comfortable. The front porch was the place to play games and enjoy the view. The back porch was the place to take a late afternoon nap in the hammock surrounded by grape vines. During the day we biked, hiked, kayaked and played on the beach, and don’t forget wine tasting! This was a perfect vacation.

Loved the house itself! Definitely not luxurious by today’s standards but all its quirkiness, thewonderful verandas, and the house history made up for it!Lack of air conditioning was an issue but opening windows in the evening cooled it down for sleeping. The location was perfect- just a few minutes off the main streets but felt far away from the city. We were a little surprised by the lack of landscaping and the clutter in the yard. Check in and communication was great. It definitely loses marks for cleanliness. The house, and most noticeably the bathrooms, were definitely not clean enough for my liking.

Nice accommodations and location.

We rented this place for our kids and grandkids who were in Kelowna for my Dad’s memorial service. They all had to head home on Sunday so only used the house for two of the three nights. That would be my only complaint. There was no option to rent just the two nights because of the long weekend. Kids liked the place and said the house had plenty of room and character for a large group. Thanks for letting us stay at your place. We would recommend it. :)

Old house with character….very well equipped. Large dining room table that can accommodate a large group…we had 11 for Thanksgiving dinner. Good location…..10 to 15 minutes to all the locations we needed to visit.

Great Family Stay

This is our second time staying at the farmhouse and It served its purpose well. This historical farmhouse provides lots of space and large rooms, and a huge front porch for large family gatherings. We stayed during the heatwave, but there were lots of fans throughout the house. The setting is beautiful with the mountains, the valley and the roosters crowing while we drank our coffee on the front porch. There are so many nooks and crannies that made it fun for young children. There are lots of interesting toys and little rooms for kids. It’s not a 5 star hotel, but you won’t find anything as unique for a large family stay at this affordable price. Suggestions would be to have portable air-conditioners for the bedrooms during the heat wave. And a coffee maker. Thanks Amber and Mark! We hope to return some day!
