Perfect hotel for pets and owners!

La Quinta is always a win when traveling with pets. This one in Kearny was perfection. Very very new hotel, everything was in perfection condition. The free breakfast was great with a very spacious eating area. I would absolutely stay here again!

Great hotel, convenient to a major interstate, with several local dining options close by. The one thing we did find odd is that they put all guests with pets on the second floor in one section. The "one section" part I get, the second floor part, not so much. It's not terribly convenient at 3am when your dog has to go out to herd it into an elevator and out the front lobby of the hotel without disturbing other guests. A first floor room would be a better fit. Also, two bathroom things we've found helpful at other La Quinta's - higher toilets, and towel bars or hooks on which to hang wet or used towels to dry. Lastly, periodically clean your elevator floors - someone had spilled something sticky all over one of them and our shoes (and our dogs paws) were sticking to the floor. Otherwise, great stay! Front desk attendant was very courteous, friendly and helpful.
