The view from the room was beautiful- I could see the castle and the old town and the port in front of me and the Aegean Sea. I was told before my arrival via message that the hotel does not provide parking and that I should park at the telonio parking 250m away which cost 15Euros per day; surprisingly I saw some guests using the small parking space in front of the hotel and I inquired at the reception only to find out that they do have a parking space - a small one- and it is on a first-come-first-served basis. I was surprised because I had seen in the information about the hotel about the parking space and I had messaged the hotel that I was going to use it only to receive the answer above. Second, while in the room in the evening I heard some noises - turned out that the AC was emitting dust and paint right at the entrance space. I talked to the reception and it was cleaned the next day but still some came down the next morning. The reception personnel (with one exception) was very friendly and wanted to help.

Central on the harbour hotel in Kavala Greece

He team and location is amazing! The hotel is located next to the sea and the central point of Kavala within waking distance to everything you want to explore in the city. Request a sea facing room as the views are spectacular.  The rooms and showers need some maintenance TLC. The showers are open concept and water pours all over the floors when taking a shower. This hotel could be the premier hotel in Kavala if some design and maintenance elements would be enhanced.
