Minnehaha Lodge- picturesque Blue Mtn retreat

Welcome to one of Katoomba’s best kept secrets; ‘Minnehaha Lodge’. Situated only a short 5 minute drive away from the centre of the township of Katoomba, Minnehaha Lodge accommodates for up to 12 guests and is tucked away on the edge of national park bushland in tranquil North Katoomba. You’ll feel like you’ve escaped to a mountain paradise!

The space

The Lodge perfectly blends into the natural landscape and is a mix of contemporary, modern design with character-filled, mountain charm. Minnehaha Lodge is situated on over 2,200 sqm of manicured gardens and lawns meticulously maintained.

Minnehaha Lodge is a 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom residence designed for gatherings of friends or families. Accommodation includes:

• 2 oversized king bedrooms, both with modern en-suites. The master king suite has an additional in-room spa bath overlooking the Lodge’s gardens, perfect for a romantic escape.

• 1 queen sized bedroom decorated with modern furnishings

• 1 queen sized self-contained apartment with en-suite and kitchenette. Perfect for the couple looking for additional privacy.

• 1 bunk room containing 2 double bunks, ideally suited for 4 people and is child friendly.

The Lodge comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests with ample lounge and dining options both indoors and out. Enjoy a BBQ lunch or dinner in the sun drenched outdoor dining area, or take a seat around the fire pit over a coffee or drink and enjoy the sprawling views of the gardens and local bushland.

The lodge contains two lounge rooms, the first equipped with a 70 inch TV along with Foxtel. Enjoy a movie with loved ones on a cold winter’s night. The second lounge adjoins the main dining area and kitchen via the open plan layout. It boasts an oversized traditional log fire ideally suited to a cold winter’s night.

All our linen and towels are hotel quality and are ethically sourced from a local not for profit organisation.

Wifi is available via the Lodge’s NBN connection.


Guest access

Guests are free to access all of the property including the entire lodge, the outdoor dining and chill out areas as well as the extensive gardens spread over 2,200sqm.


Other things to note

PLEASE NOTE WE HAVE A STRICT NO PARTY POLICY. The lodge is in a quiet part of Katoomba and any loud noise may result in your stay being terminated early.

We have parking available for up to 4 cars. If you intend to bring more than 4 cars you will need to seek approval beforehand.
