Newly built residence in a dream location on the Baltic Sea. The residence, with its spacious apartments, offers a beautiful view of the water, which you can enjoy from your terrace or balcony. All apartments are tastefully furnished in light materials and offer both Wi-Fi and satellite TV with Sky channels. The leisure area with swimming pool and sauna at the Bollwark Residence is now open to all our guests. Use is included in the overnight price, and guests will receive a transponder for access to the leisure area along with their apartment keys upon check-in. This is located in House 4 of the residence. Olpenitz lies directly where the Schlei River flows into the Baltic Sea. Germany's longest estuary is a popular sailing area. The activity on the water is wonderful to observe. Not far away is the tranquil town of Kappeln with restaurants and shops. Here you will find a true rarity: Europe's last herring fence. Every year on Ascension Day weekend, the Herring Days are celebrated in Kappeln – a fantastic experience for locals and visitors alike. Highlights included: All consumption-based energy costs Wi-Fi Activities nearby: The Schlei Nature Park, with its fascinating flora and fauna, stretches around Olpenitz. The magnificent natural landscape is best explored on hikes, walks, and bike rides. Both the Viking Frisian Trail and the Baltic Sea Cycle Route, which connects the cities of Flensburg and Lübeck over a distance of over 400 kilometers, pass through here. Excursion tips: the small town of Kappeln with its museum harbor, the Viking village of Haithabu, or – in cooler weather – the seawater wave pool in Eckernförde.
