Great Location

We traveled to see baseball games. Hotel had good proximity to the stadium, shopping & restaurants. Friendly, helpful staff. Room was spacious & comfortable. Could use updating. Some areas needed repair, cleaning above & beyond the duties of housekeeping.

Upon arrival on 5/10/25, a customer approached the front desk and told everyone standing in line that the water in the pool and hot tub were both cold. We were not going to use these amenities any way so I didn’t think much of it. Later I went to take a shower and there was no hit or warm water. I called front desk and they said that the water heater has been struggling lately and many people were trying to take a shower at the same time, so please wait and try again in 15 minutes. Waited , but no warm or hot water that night or the next morning. I asked for a discount or refund, but they said they couldn’t because I used Expedia to book my room.

I booked this hotel for two nights. The rooms were standard. Perfectly acceptable. The only reason I chose this particular hotel was for the pool and hot tub. Sadly the heater was broken and the pool was ice cold. The "hot tub" was cold as a normal pool. Then we go up to the room to take showers, the water is as cold as the hot tub. I am sad I spent my money here. I could have paid half of the price if I wanted to stay at a hotel without a pool. Disappointed.

Fine stay; unless you want the pool

Wasn't looking for anything fancy for our stay so expectations weren't super high. Really just wanted a place with a pool for our kid, so it was disappointing when the pool was ice cold and the hot tub was chilly too. Even the water from the shower seemed to run cool after 4 minutes. Breakfast was good. Everything else was fine.

May 1 2025 - Room 105: There was a big, live bed bug crawling on the top of the bed comforter. We immediately contacted staff and demanded we be allowed to leave and get a refund. Staff and I took pictures of the bed bug.

I decided to just pay whatever extra needed to get a place with a hot tub. When I was checking in another guest asked the receptionist how long the hot tub was expected to be down. The receptionist said he didn’t know, and that maintenance was aware but that was all the info that was given. I was working in the area all weekend and all I wanted was it simmer in a hot tub at night. I also took pictures of the notice on the ice machine that said it wasn’t working so we had to go to the second floor for ice. The place was clean and the breakfast was ok, but pay the extra $30/night for the holiday inn in the same parking lot
