The hotel is in very poor condition. The rooms smell. We paid $200+ for a night stay. We were okay with the price thinking we will get a good night sleep after a long drive. Our room was 319, next to an elevator. We could hear anyone walking in the hallway, slamming luggage and opening and closing of elevator. Worst stay. Didn't get a restful sleep. Won't recommend this hotel at all. You are better off staying at holiday inn with better amenities and location at a less cost.

The hotel and area is amazing. The staff were so friendly and attentive to things we asked. The pool and arcade area was great for the kids and the brewery next door great for the parents. The only slight negative thing was the breakfast option is a cafe in the basement where the food portion is small and costly. A mini croissant sandwich cost $5.75 and takes a while if there is a lot of guests because it's cooked on a microwave type oven. We did find a brunch place called Hello Toast and there is a Tim Hortons walkable from the hotel.

Noisy and poor service at exit

On leaving we were asked how our stay was. We mentioned the noise from the neighbouring party at the curling club and we're ignored and told to have a nice trip. At no point during booking (6weeks ago) and check-in were we warned about the noise. We would have requested a room change of we had, but after checking in there would have been a fee.
