Wonderful stay in Cache Creek.

The check in was awesome, thanks to Christine who was welcoming and super helpful. She even showed me two rooms with different layouts so I could choose..I stayed three nights since I was checking out McAbee Fossil Beds nearby (highly recommend!) and my entire stay was comfortable, quiet, and easy. The Riverside is located within easy range of a gas station, grocery stores, and library and within a short drive (5 minutes) of Horstings Farm Market which offers fresh produce, ready made food, made to order sandwiches, cinnamon buns and excellent coffee and matcha drinks. Christine at Riverside also offers bottled water and ramen-style soup for sale (very inexpensive) in the lobby for people who arrive too late or who prefer to prepare something in the room. My room had a fridge and microwave, mugs, AC, and was very quiet at night. If I come back to Cache Creek I would definitely stay again in this modest but clean and welcoming motel. Front desk staff and cleaning staff were warm, friendly and pleasant and very professional.

Under the bed was not vacuumed, the toilet flusher is broken and shower head needs replacing, these are minor and did not bother me. Even though the highway is right beside it was quiet. The air conditioner worked great and was not overly loud. I was disappointed there was no ice for drinks although next door is a gas station I could purchase a big bag if I wanted to. There are no vending machines, food or ice at the motel but there is a convenience store next door The beds were comfortable and clean and I had a good night's sleep. Theres a microwave, fridge and coffee machine which I always appreciate. We had our miniature dashund dog in our room and for us that was important, the owners are very pet friendly and laid back. I would stay there again if I'm in the area.

Can honestly say I haven’t received better customer service, friendliness, or communication in years. The owners are lovely!! To top it off, I had just come from 3 nights at the Fairmont, Whistler. Is everything sparkly & new, no. Are the rooms spotlessly clean, comfortable, & everything you need, absolutely. Great and convenient location with lots of parking. I'd stay there again without a doubt.
