I recommend this gem in the forest of Girnar Super service and excellent restaurant with delicious food with personalized service from Mr. Jahid and staff Very helpful and friendly staff on the property who got the extra step for the guests!!

Located in Mendarda, Sarovar Portico Gir is in a national park, within a 5-minute drive of Sasan River Bridge and Sasan Gir Temple.
The rooms are comfortable and spacious. A balcony provided good light and sitting space. The bathroom is functional, although the lack of a vent made it feel damp and prevented towels from drying. Staff had difficulty keeping dining area clean and service was poor.
