This is a typically greek hotel. I have read reviews about the breakfast, however i thought that this was great and was enough to keep you going. The owners were friendly which is all you can hope for.

Hitel is ebaut 2 klmeter from the beach

It is not pure and clean exactly how you present Hotel in your advert. The person who was serving breakfast was putting his sleeves in our plates and the breakfast was cold too. This Hotel is not good for winter time and I would not recommended to anyone. As far as the price concerned it isn't worth even of half of the price which we paid, I am very disappointed.

Great location for peace and quiet

The hotel is in good condition with lovely mountain views in a peaceful setting. It seems owner-operated, by a team of really helpful people. Their breakfast was excellent!

Convenient and Comfortable Hotel

We spend a night at the Heraion on our way to Neo Mamaras. Didnt expected a very nice place for what we paid for a one night stay. Surprisingly what we got was a large, comfortable room, (new look, ) and a good breakfast.

Clean, well maintained but far from beach

Breakfast was plentiful and varied. But there were no coffee/tea making facilities in the rooms (although they were advertised in the hotel description). Rooms clean and well-maintained. We had two rooms. Our biggest complaint was the lack of a shower curtain in one of the rooms, which means the bathroom is flooded every time you take a shower. The other room had a nice bathtub w/whirlpool jets, but again no shower curtain. The hotel is far away from everything and not easy to find the first time around. Ignore the part of the address which shows Nea Propotida. This will send you into a completely different area. You are looking for Nea Kalikratia. We were there in the winter, so can't comment on the beach, but it is a fair walking distance, much of it without proper sidewalks.

Great service and great room. Loved it!

It seems to me it is a family hotel. The room was great, big and so quite. I slept like at home. The staff was very helpful and kind. Big smile from the receptionist. Lovely. The breakfast was big and very good and all served for you. Just sit down and enjoy. A real treat. I loved it! You probabily need a car to move around but that is what you would do if you go to Hildiki anyway. For me it worked 100%.

A Place Where You Feel at Home & Have Quiet

This hotel for the price and stars was a great deal. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was generous. (The hostess serves it fresh and I felt very taken care of). The room was spacious and clean and even had a balcony though just a view of the hills and neighbors. Our friends room had a balcony with a nice view of the country side down to the sea, which was nice. One thing you need if you stay here is a car since you must drive about 2km to get to the waterfront and 1km to town. (Though it is not right in town, this is a benefit if you like to go to bed early and don't like the nightlife of Greece since just about everything during the week is busy and loud until 11PM. It was a quiet place to sleep). Another thing to consider was no private parking but on this street it seemed safe. Lastly, there was no shower curtain so the whole bathroom floor got wet, but this happens in almost every place in Greece--even 5 star hotels. Overall, I highly recommend it if you want a place where you feel taken care of and at home but at the same time have privacy and quiet.

It was a pleasant stay overall. The staff was nice, however doesn't speak good english. Rooms are nice, breakfast is good. Overall very good value for money. Unfortunately the hotel is too far from the beaches (not a problem if you have a car)

Ecellent Place to Stay

The Heraion is a budget hotel that offers excellent value for money and I would recommend it without hesitation for an over night stay. Very friendly and helpful staff and good breakfast. For the price I cannot fault it.

Friendly and good value for money

Very good value for money. The hotel was nice and the staff really friendly. Breakfast was really good. We could see the sea from the balcony, but it takes a short drive of about 3 minutes to get to the beach.

Great place, unspectacular location

The hotel met all our needs other than we had hoped to be on the water for views. We could not see the water from the location. According to the pics, we expected to be closer to the sea. The ownership was exceptionally gracious and warm. It is unfortunate we couldn't give a score of 5 across the board.
