This coach house suite is on a water front rain forest acreage. From the front windows there are distant views of the Straight of Juan de Fuca, Olympic mountain range and gardens. We are located driving minutes to famous coastal hiking, surfing and local restaurants. Note the beach access is a 3 min drive.
A kitchenette is outfitted with a refrigerator and a microwave. A Smart television and a DVD player are provided for your entertainment, while complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected. The bathroom has a shower and a hair dryer. Conveniences include a desk and a coffee/tea maker.

We had a fantastic stay with Leah and Al!The entrance is surrounded by tall trees, making it feel like you’re tucked deep in the forest. The house itself is charming, cozy, and very clean. You essentially have the entire upstairs to yourselves. Leah and Al live on the same property in a separate house, and the downstairs area of this home appears to be used for storage, so no one else is staying there.There are three bedrooms with double/queen beds, plus a sofa bed—plenty of space for a group. The place is well-equipped with a microwave, toaster oven/air fryer, hotplate, and a large fridge/freezer.We also noticed lots of thoughtful extras—some likely left by previous guests and others provided by the hosts. Things like charging cables, basic toiletries, sanitary products, a hairdryer (and possibly a straightener), plus board games and a TV are all available, which was a nice touch.Check-in was very straightforward. Since we arrived quite late, they kindly left the key on the table and made sure the house was warm and ready for us.Leah and Al were incredibly helpful, especially when we had a small electrical issue (partly due to our own misunderstanding). Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back again.

Nicely fitted out 3 bed apartment, off the beaten track for peace and quiet, but not too far away from Sooke or other attractions in the regions. The owners were very attentive and helpful. Lovely place to unwind and relax for a few days.

Delightful

What a delightful place to stay. If you want to explore Sooke and the beaches in the area this is the perfect spot to stay. Great, quiet location surrounded by so much greenery! Excellent communication with host. She responded right away to any of my questions. Check in was pleasant- we got to meet Allen and got an orientation of the place. Nice three bedroom place. Unique and usable well appointed kitchen area. Nice little deck to sit and see the water, and nice outdoor space with table and chairs surrounded by so much greenery!! Easy drive to Shirley Delicious and Sooke.

Awesome Experience

The hosts were amazing. From arriving later than planned to changing our reservation to add extra people, everything was simple and easy. The communication was great. The house and property are beautiful with tons of information on cool/fun things to do in the area. Would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway on the west coast.

Amazing Hideaway

Amazing little hideaway. Very clean, quiet and homey. Hosts have thought of everything you could possibly need to have a wonderful stay. Location is quick drive into Sooke or Shirley or many beaches and hikes. We will definitely be back and stay here again!

Coach house getaway

Leah and Al were amazing hosts. They greeted us at the property and gave us a tour of the space that made us feel welcome. They are super hosts! Everything you need and can think of, is provided. The coach house was private, beautifully designed with beautiful views. A place of Zen and we cannot recommend their space enough. It is a short drive away from amazing hikes and beaches along the Juan De Fuca trail. Our family will definitely be back!

Lovely getaway in a natural setting.

Host gave good advice of local things that could be done such as go to the lighthouse, and have pizza from stoked. The place was clean and well stocked such as with toilet paper, oil, sugar. The host also put out several board games. I would perhaps have preferred the tv be in the main area than to decide which bedroom didnt have one. I didnt use the tv but a family member of mine wanted to. And more kitchen appliances wouldnt go amiss if staying for more than a couple of days. But for 1-4 days stay its pretty close to perfect in having a quiet base for a family to go to. I went with my young baby, partner and parents. It was nice being away from it all and my partner saw deer outside once. Its a lovely getaway in nature.

beautiful quiet spot

Very clean and nicely decorated in a pleasant country setting in the trees. The only downside was that I expected a stove and fridge, but there is only a hotplate, toaster oven and microwave. The bar fridge doesn't have a freezer. Still workable for doing some cooking. Hugh

A beautiful vacation spot

The location is fabulous and the hosts are wonderful. Was a nice vacation for one person, but would comfortably fit six adults. A nice quiet location in the trees near the ocean. I hope to come back!

Beautiful & relaxing stay

Everything was as described, a great welcome from friendly and helpful owners. It might be however an inconvenience that everything must be done with the car. There is only one small beach on walking distance. You can discover several beautiful beaches and hikes in the area.
