This unit is complete with luxurious furnishings, vaulted ceilings and skylights providing plenty of natural light. Located in the Wild Coast Cottage Community.



Must Know: there are 20 stairs to access, plus an additional 10 from parking. Construction across the road

- Across and up the road a little bit there is construction on new build town houses.



Located in a the Wild Coast Cottage community. There are neighbours close by. Privacy may be limited in outdoor areas.



Please note that each cottage in the neighbourhood is privately owned. If you visit at another cottage and bring dishes, chairs etc. please be sure to return them to their original cottage. Some cottages are rented like ours, but most are used only by their owners and families. Please be respectful of their privacy and property.



Other Things to Note:

For the propane firepit - A propane tank is supplied, but guest must purchase (refill) their own propane. Propane can be purchased at the gas station open daily.

the cottage is nestled in a rainforest, surrounded by the lush beauty of nature. While the hosts make efforts to clear away cobwebs, animal and bird droppings, as well as leaves and debris before guests arrive, they kindly ask guests to understand that the cottage is situated in the habitat of these creatures. Therefore, it's natural for them to rebuild their webs and nests. Appreciating this delicate balance between human habitation and the natural environment adds to the charm of the stay.

There is limited cell service in Port Renfrew, but the cottage has WI-FI. Guest can email, or enable WI-FI calling on their smart phone, or use other application to call such as What's app, or others. There is also a couple pay phone in town if needed. Current cell phone providers that work in the area are Rogers, Fido, Shaw and limited Telus.

Good, rapid communication and response from host. It might have just been that it was the end of the season, but there were some things that we needed to call and get fixed or cleaned. They came quickly. It was fairly clean, but there was evidence of end of season neglect, like dusty baseboards and a bathroom door hook that hasn't been fixed yet. Windows needing a good scrubbing. It's comfortable enough, but very monochrome for my tastes. A lot of grey and white makes for a bland environment. It has all the basics, but nothing more. No extra blankets for instance, or throws to snuggle in. No teapot. Beds are very creaky, but comfortable. Decent shower/tub. Sound travels so there's little sound privacy within the apartment. You hear every conversation / phone call. Great view! Nice balcony. Very quiet when we were there (mid-week in fall; not sure how it would be at peak season). You could hear a pin drop most of the time. I wouldn't mind staying here again overall. Mainly for the quiet, the view and light.

Great view. Nice location to getaway for a few days with family including our fur babies. Location was great to visit Botanical beach with a quick stop at Coastal Kitchen Cafe on the way back. Check in/out process was simple and easy.
