Large house over two floors with pool and gardens.

Our Beautiful large house is situated in the Poitou Charentes/ Nouvelle Aquitaine région of France. We offer three double bedrooms. All with fitted wardrobes. The main bedroom has a large en suite and has been rented out, as a family room, as a B and B. It can easily accommodate another single bed. This is on the ground floor and has double patio doors straight out onto the terrace ( Our B and B score has beefn scored 9.6 over three years) . Upstairs there are two further large double bedrooms and a very large landing which can act as another bedroom for a single bed. There is a family bathroom upstairs. A further shower room and toilet is off the large entrance hall. The lounge is large, light and airy. Kitchen with dining room off that can accommodate 8 people. There’s patio doors from the kitchen straight onto the terrace which has a brick BBQ and steps down to the inground pool and beautiful unoverlooked gardens. You can often see sheep grazing in the field at the bottom of the garden. There is room to park up to three cars.
We are within the microclimate making this area the stecond warmest région in France. Beautiful in July when the sunflowers are in full bloom.
It is a ten minute walk to the little village of Jousse where you will find a small shop that sells fresh bread, croissants, pain au chocolate and cakes that are cooked on the premises. There's a small bar/ tabac which also sells petrol. The bar is popular with the locals but as is often the case in rural France closes at 7 pm. However, there are several bars a short drive away that stay open late and offer live music nights, as do some restaurants.We are extremely lucky that we have more than our fair share of talented musicians in the area. The summer is buzzing with activity. Tennis courts are available and are a two minute walk away
We will be on site. We have a gypsy wagon in a private area of the garden where we will be staying. We will be available for daily pool maintenance and available to answer any questions or help in any way that we can.
