Check in was fast and friendly. Room (standard king) was spacious, tastefully decorated and very clean. Bathroom had a shower and separate soaking tub. Hotel was very cozy with multiple fireplaces to relax by. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby with some walking distance. Area was very safe.

I’m moving out of town. I packed my entire apartment. Needed a place to stay. Booked a room. Was told “If you are local, we need a $250 CASH deposit.” I wasn’t told that when I booked the room. It was 11:30 at night, I’ve been busting my butt packing for 13 hours, and now I’ve got to runaround and find an ATM? Forget that nonsense. I stayed at The Carnegie Hotel instead.

Staff fantastic! Room and all of hotel clean and beautiful. Love to go close to Christmas as it is decorated beautifully throughout. Love the comfortable bar with fireplace. Dinner and breakfast has a good selection and always good.

The staff was great!!!! I had a little issue with check out dates and they were able to get it worked out without an issue. The room was wonderful, bed was comfortable, everything was clean.
