We had a great stay here! There actually is two amazing pools- one right on the ocean! Home was nicely equipped and very comfortable for a family of four! Great communication with property owners. Will definitely be back!!

What a wonderful place. So close to the beach which was accessible from the pool and property. We did not have to go to a public beach since most areas are controlled by the big hotels. Short ride to Jenson beach gives you access to more stores and Restaurants. The owners thought of everything, and the place has two bathrooms which comes in handy. The Grandkids stayed over and enjoyed the bunkbeds in the second bedroom. Place was well equiped with everything you needed.

Perfect!!! Just the right size for four (we had 3)! Clean, well maintained. Not sure why trash peeps didnt pick up trash. Had it in ground bun Monday night. Saw truck come Tuesday but didnt get ours. Left me scrambling looking for a place to take extra trash on check out day. Other than that it was perfect. Would definitely come again!

Adorable place in convenient location

Adorable two bedroom place was perfect for our family of four. Place is in walking distance to the beach or very short drive. We appreciated the proximity to the main road. House was very clean and stocked with many amenities we needed including beach towels, beach chairs and umbrella and even a beach bag. Rooms were large and my kids enjoyed the bunk beds. The community has a lot of security which made it seem safe. The community also has a lot of strict rules - rated down a star because we weren’t allowed pool toys even though the pool was empty. The ocean pool was also closed our entire stay. Other than that, the house, owner and location are wonderful! We would be back if we come to the area again.

Quaint vacation stay

This little house was perfect for our family vacation. We visit Hutchinson Island often, and love the atmosphere. This stay was very easy to access, communication was everything we needed from the manager, and it was everything we expected based on the listing. The ability to rent a golf cart was an added bonus for this particular house. The amenities were not something we used a lot of, but the beach access was fantastic! The beds were comfortable, the hot water heater worked great and there was even a box fan! The kitchen was well equipped for all our cooking needs, and I cook almost every meal when we travel. I would definitely recommend this house for a beach vacation!

Absolute Gem!

I can't speak highly enough about this great property. My wife and two children were fortunate enough to find this home and would recommend this property to anyone. The Nettles community could not be nicer and more accommodating. The surrounding neighborhood to this home was quiet, clean and the neighbors were very friendly. The property was clean and came with everything needed for a weeks' vacation. The front porch was a perfect place to relax (and take an afternoon nap). The surrounding area had any store/restaurant/amenity you would need. The location has 24-hour security and were extremely helpful.

Wonderful

May’s house is clean and well equipped for a family vacation. We cooked in a few nights and found everything we needed. Nettles island is quaint, super cute and a great location for families looking for a quiet beach holiday that is not crowded. There is also a security guard on duty 24/7. I can’t say enough about May, she is the nicest host I’ve ever worked with. I made a mistake with our booking dates and she went above and beyond to accommodate us. I can’t express enough how grateful we are. Thank you for your patience and professionalism, can’t wait to go back!

Comfortable Family Retreat

I can't emphasize enough how this property was a great choice. Along with being nicely clean, it was full of amenities and unique extras. Check out Nettles Island community with its many many activity services with an ocean front pool. Enough to do for all family members to relax and enjoy.

awesome place!

We had a quick girls' weekend here and had a great time! It was close to two pools and the beach, plus a couple of restaurants. The house itself was very comfortable - we spent a lot of time just relaxing, chatting and watching tv. The owner had excellent communication and we really enjoyed ourselves! Thank you!

What a great find!

Our stay there was great, comfortable beds, attentive host, great front porch. Very clean and everything you need is there. Community pools and access was great, one on the beach and one by club house. Food at onsite restaurant was really good! When we had a small issue with AC,one phone call and property manager was there and fixed. I would love to rent it again.

Our family loved the cottage and the Nettles community

The landlord, the property manager and the golf cart rental guy Dave were all VERY easy to work with. No issues with communication. The cottage was super clean and nicely updated. Very quaint but roomy enough for my wife, myself and our 4 yr old granddaughter. She loved the little lizards outside too. We used the pool and the shuffleboard games as well as the parking lot for the beach access. Gated community, nice. Easy access from the main road too. I highly recommend this property to you.

Property was super clean, everywhere. Host communication was far above what I expected. Bed was very comfortable for both me and my spouse. All of the outdoor space is great. Sunny Daze and peaceful nights

Property was super spacious. Comtemporary decor, all conveniences provided. Very convenient to walk to beach and pool. Large covered porch was perfect spot to relax outside day or night. Even has a small grass yardand small patio in the back, unique for the area. Fast easy communication with May. Loved it so much we added another day. Can't wait to return.

Beautiful cottage!

Beautiful cottage is a safe family friendly community! I have been visits to go Nettles since I was a child and now I bring my children. This community is amazing…two pools…kiddie pool…hot tubs…tennis…pickle ball…miniature golf and so much more! Not to mention lovely beach a golf cart across the street. May’s home was exceptional. Very clean and comfortable exactly as listed on vrbo. I hope to stay again next year!

Great family friendly place to stay!

I recently stated Maydelin’s place with my husband and teenaged kids. We were greeted by an amazing front deck that was perfect for dining and hanging out. The house was decorated in a relaxing and cute way. It was great having separate areas for each family member to watch their own programming. The community center offered a large pool, basketball court, pickle ball, mini golf and shuffle board ~ all great activities to keep teens busy! While we didn’t eat at the restaurant at the marina, we heard from more than one person the food was excellent. I would recommend this place.
