Don’t be fooled by the high ratings, check out the one and two star reviews, they tell the truth. The front desk staff is filled with some of the most entitled and unprofessional employees. Very rude and unethical. One in particular - Habib Khan. A month ago, we contacted the property and confirmed with the staff that we would need heaters since we are traveling with senior citizens, they were so welcoming and said everything will be provided per our convenience. When we arrived, the first thing Habib ask was to show a written proof of the communication. My wife had to literally beg to provide us with heaters which ofcouse did not work. Neither does the AC during daytime - overheard another family arguing with the staff complaining about the same. They try to scam you into booking and later show the real face.

Excellent camps and the cleanliness of the tents and washrooms are too good and hygienic. I stayed here for one night and they serve fresh food and comfortable bed. Pool access was easy with sunloungers.

Comfortable for one night stay. Located near to the desert and have good sunset and sunrise views from the camp. Pool was super clean. Breakfast spread was delicious and not oily. We did camel ride which is a great way to explore the dunes. Staff was polite and took good care of us.

Had a wonderful stay with Desert Camp in Jaisalmer. Location was peaful and near to the desert. The staff was welcoming and food was served hot and fresh. Service was top notch.

Great accommodation and friendly staff. Be aware that the property is 50K outside of Jaisalmer. The address on the booking site is their downtown office, 20 minutes form the fort. You will need to book transportation to and from the camp.

We booked this stay and a week before our trip we got a mail saying the resort is under maintenance and we were being accommodated in a new resort (Marubhumi) . So as the mail mentioned we went to the other resort , it was so humiliating as they didn’t know anything about this and we weren’t notified that we had to go to Desert Dream . Once we went to Desert Dream ,we had a surprise waiting . We had booked an Oman family room as mentioned in their website with 2 king size bed and we got a room with a single king size bed and a single cot ( we were 5) . It was very disappointing.It is good. Also add about the many add ons The staff though friendly, the management kept insisting on paying extra for each and everything. There was no mention of a paid dinner for new year's eve while booking but they insisted on us paying a fee to get dinner. They even asked us to pay extra for ordering empty glasses to the room. We had to argue for each and every amenity which we did get eventually but did not like the way we received it. Overall, the stay didn't justify the price we paid for it.

Stay by the dunes

The camp is by the sand dunes and convenient for activities such as camel and jeep safari and atv and parasailing etc. Room was clean and hotel common areas were clean. During winter there is no heating in the room so bring extra clothes, hotel is happy to provide heated blankets if needed. There is ac in room for summer months. There is evening entertainment with snacks and coffee/chai. Dinner and breakfast included in stay as well. It is a bit of distance from town so recommend doing town activities before heading to camp or after.

The camp has a good feel on entry. Tents are clean and spacious. Bathroom has modern facilities.Evening cultural program is entertaining. Food was good.However, customer service was poor. Communication with guests was not the best. The staff was very untrained. They failed to deliver a special request made for my mother’s birthday and didn’t have the courtesy to apologise or advise that they were not able to deliver the cake on time. The prices of in-house tours felt inflated.

Desert Camp in Jaisalmer was an amazing experience! The camel Safari provided a unique way to explore the dunes, and the upgraded tents were both luxurious and comfortable. The cultural show was a delightful highlight. The camp also offered ample parking space, making it very convenient. Highly recommended!

My recent Jaisalmer camp trip was an experience unlike any other. Spending a night under the vast desert sky, surrounded by rolling sand dunes, was truly magical Traditional Rajasthani cuisine is a treat. Expect delicious vegetarian food i like all the activities we would like to visit again

Sam sand dunes is must visit place in Jaisalmer. In evening there is local folk dance & singing show which is very intriguing. You just love it. The tents are well equipped & clean. Must do Jeep Safari & Camel Safari. If you have money & want thrill ride then ask the camel care taker, he will make camel to run at full speed with you sitting on it in the sand dunes. It's amazing 😁
