We went hiking from Parador Nacional to "Las Lagunillas", a flat area below Gilillo Peak. From that point we enjoy the view of the whole valley inside Cazorla Natural Park. Clouds were very low.

Located in Jaén, Parador de Jaén is in the mountains, a 3-minute walk from Santa Catalina Castle and within a 5-minute drive of Church and Convent of Mercy.
Stunning views and unique location. Large rooms with good heating/AC. Friendly and helpful staff, with well kept common areas. Chromecast feature for entertainment was useful. Only issue was no kettle for hot drinks.

First, the view from our room was worth the stay—gorgeous! The hotel was good. Staff had limited English but that’s to be expected off the beaten track. The meals that came with “full board” were quite limited, and we would go a la Carter next time. Room was a little stuffy, and it was a little noisy ...
