The location and layout of the condo are great—the living and dining area is large and spacious. However, the reason for my three-star rating instead of five is the condition of the “soft product.” This unit needs some attention and care.The bedding and towels, while plentiful, are worn, and some even have holes. The kitchen is well-stocked but filled with older, mismatched items, except for a newer knife set. The dishwasher could use a deep cleaning—there was food residue left on dishes after a cycle, likely because the food trap hasn’t been checked in a while.There are also numerous extension cords throughout the unit, and it was difficult to determine which lights or appliances were controlled by the various switches.The owner was attentive and responsive, which is much appreciated. My only major complaint is the high damage deposit and the lengthy time it remains held both before and after the stay. The owner should work with VRBO to issue immediate refunds once the rental is cleared, instead of allowing VRBO to hold funds for an additional 14 days.
