The remote host seemed nice, but I can’t recommend this rental in good faith. I had a long stay here and got a pretty full view of the property.First, the positives: The host was responsive. He helped me receive packages that arrived earlier than expected, quickly corrected the Wi-Fi info when I noticed the listed network wasn't available, and followed up the same day when I noticed the kitchen was missing pots and pans.The negatives and major concerns: After a week of illness, I found mold on the pillows and heavy stains on the mattress. I was having breathing problems, fatigue, allergy-like symptoms, and a weird skin rash. The host said the pillows were just stained and suggested outdoor allergies were the cause, but my symptoms were new, persistent, and isolated to the bedroom. I ended up buying my own pillows and a mattress protector, which helped a bit, but I still had to wear a respirator overnight to alleviate my breathing issues. Unfortunately my rash never fully went away until I left the property.The hosting overall was more reactive than proactive and disorganized. There were mix-ups with unit numbers, including an incident where someone accidentally tried to enter my unit after the one above reported a plumbing issue.Hot water in the shower runs out quickly. This wasn't a huge issue for me, but if you don't like lukewarm showers then it might bother you.Considering everything, I don't think the unit is fit for guests in its current state.
