Employees were great. Buffets on Friday and Saturday were very disappointing. Prime rib was over cooked and dry, questionable as it didn’t even seem like a prime rib roast. Too much money for so little to choose from. Not enough employees to keep the buffet stocked, causing people to stand waiting for one employee to refill. Was not allowed to order off menu. Menu missing options for desserts that used to be offered. Waitresses were great. Room was clean and stocked, very disappointed that they no longer have coin slots, and there isn’t a gift shop at all anymore. If you go, remember that the points you earn on your player cards you will need to use same day or they can be used for absolutely nothing the next day. Learned that the hard way. Slots were not generous at all. Next time I go we will stay at Four Jacks and eat at Cactus Pete’s.

First room wouldn’t lock. Since the rooms are separate from main front desk. We had to drive to the main building very inconveniente. No front desk personnel. Had to walk into casino to ask for a new room. Phone didn’t work in room to report people being loud. Would not recommend.

The property is older, but it was nice. I liked the hotel, but didn't care for the Casino. You are limited on the types of drinks they will serve you, where as the Casino across the street will serve you anything. I would stay at the hotel again, but not play at the Casino. The restaurant was good but not enough choices, I would like a full Buffet.

Check in was delayed over two hours because they were short staffed. We kept getting told to come back in 15 minutes and when we did they would send us a way again. Many of the machines were broken. We decided to try the "highly recommended" prime rib buffet at $35 a head and it was truly awful. The selection was sad and the food was bland and overcooked, and the desserts were stale. Next time we go to Jackpot, we will spend the few extra dollars to stay at Cactus Pete's.

Comfy but smoky

Over all the stay was good. We had fire alarms go off at 3 am. So that was fun. Beds were comfy. It was very smoky but realize that it is a casino.

I stayed on a Thursday night and it was only $40. I stayed in the rooms just up the hill. I actually think ut was better than staying in the casino as it was very quiet. Where can you find a room for $40 these days? Room was clean. I would stay there again.

Hotel rooms attached to Casino were nice enough, clean, bit outdated, bed was soft, (i prefer a firmer mattress) all good enough for a one night visit. Did the 29.00 buffet...very disappointing. The main disappointment was the casino slots were very tight it seemed. Could be a turn of bad luck, but we did much better across the street the two nights previous. I looked around, we spent several hours in there, and it didnt seem like anyone was winning on slots. Probably won't be back due to all these factors. Will stay across the street again.

The unit was a typically room. Great price! However, the Expedia description did not mention it was not located within the casino. You have to walk outside to get to the row of economy rooms. Luckily the weather was good the night we stayed.
