The hotel’s location was good for those looking to stay near Taksim Square, but the room was relatively small and had no soundproofing. We could clearly hear people talking and their TV in the neighboring room, which significantly reduced our privacy. As for the noise from nearby nightclubs, it was quite disturbing and lasted until the early morning hours, especially for guests staying on the first three floors like us. We were clearly informed that changing to a room on a higher floor was not possible. On the positive side, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The cleanliness was very good, and the breakfast was good and varied. Overall, the stay was relatively good.

Staff was so rude I asked him how much per night and he gave me a number that is higher than what was on Expedia, and once I showed him the price he said go ahead and book it through Expedia

Gonen Hotel was a good stay little old fashion but staff were very polite and amazing to help customers specifically Mohamed and Idris they were amazing we hope next time we come to stay on a new room furniture an new flooring Definitely we recommend the stay and the area 🌸

The location is very central and convenient. The hotel is extremely dated and dark and not a 4 star in my opinion. In need of modernisation. The daily room service was poor and rushed. The reception staff was polite and helpful.
